As soon as they heard about what happened, they ran to the backyard and was suprised, the soil was scattered all over the path. She was forced to clean it up using only her hands without gloves and throw it in the garbage bag. And they said that she will not ear until she cleans up the mess.
Maria trying to explain to her masters what really had happen, they wouldn't believe her. Because they know their children won't do such a thing. She couldn't say anything else, so she just did what her master told her to do.
While cleaning, the Longbottom family are now eating. But Maria left at the backyard cleaning up the mess. After an hour, they had finished eating, they went out to check the progress. They saw Maria done with the cleaning and was sleeping on the swing set.
They told her to wake up and eat. But Maria wasn't satisfied with the food they gave her, they gave her their left overs. She felt like a cat or a dog feeding on their master's or someone's left overs. She didn't say anything and just ate sadly and alone. The daughter said "Poor Maria, alone eating our left overs." But the son replied "She deserved it. She needs to pay what she has done!"
Their mother agreed because she said that pot was her great great grandmother's and she preserved it for how many years already. Once Maria had finished her food, she went back to the swing set sobbing. Their Maria wished that she just might get powers to controll people's mind.
