11: I' M Ready

I got up and got ready for school thinking how only 1 day was left for the tour. Tomorrow I would be going with James to that activity trip. I would be lying if I said I am not excited for this shit.

I groaned as I combed my hair not wanting to go to school. I wish why can't life be simple and we have to stay in bed and not work. When I went downstairs I noticed no one was home. Yesterday's dinner with Stone's family was really good. I drank a cup of apple juice and drove my car to the school.

About 15 minutes were left foe the first bell to ring. I saw students talking to their friends or trying to complete their assignments. I guess, I am early to school today, seeing the fact that any of my friends were still not in school. I made my way towards principals office. Mrs.Sameuls's sat there on her desk typing something in her laptop. I greeted her and took the seat. She removed her glasses and looked at me.
"What's the matter, Hazel?"She asked concerned.

I knew what I was saying next was impossible and to say the truth, I don't want it to happen but I wanted to ask. But I never ever wanted it to happen. Cause I don't know why but yeah, I guess I have feeling for him. Shut up Hazel.
"I don't want to go with him, Do I have any other option?" I blurted out quick.

"Hmm, Sweetie, no we can't do that, and yesterday James had come here too " she said.

What! he also didn't want to go with me, but actually my whole heart was fluttering to go with him ( happy). I looked away and frowned. My inner bitch just laughed at me.

"What did he say?, he also didn't want to go with me" I asked sad and confused.
She just chuckled. I shot my head to see her clutching her waist and laughing loudly.

"Oh dear, no, he actually came and thanked me yesterday, in his words you are the best partner he could get, he said that he was really excited but what happened to you, Hazel?" She asked now sober from that laughter attack. I internally blushed thinking about James saying this all to Mrs.Sameuls.

"Ohh, I just wanted to ask, nothing wrong but I had a question, why did you choose him rather than all the other boys in the school. I mean James, you know is kind of naughty and all. He gets good marks though but why did you choose him for the tour?" I asked confused.

" Well Hazel, this tour is actually a competition, and I want to raise our school's name and make it popular by winning this. I am not expecting both of you bring the winning cup here but I want you both to go there had a strong team. I know you are the perfect girl for this and as for James, you know he knows about all that leadering stuff. He was even the first freshman of our school to become a captain of the football team and made the team win. He know about the dealing a d captaining stuff. So that's the reason I choose him. Okay. Any more questions sweetheart" she said smiling.

"No, Mam, it's okay, Thanks" I said quickly and left the room.

"Best of luck for tomorrow!" She smiled and waved a goodbye.

It was lunch time now. All the classes were blurr. I met my friends and we all talked. I went to keep my book in my locker and told my friends to go to the lunch room. I kept my books in the locker when suddenly I was pushed a little by none other than Flynn and I fell to the ground. She smirked and little, said a quick 'sorry' and went with her so-called friends. As I got up dusting the dirt from my pants, I saw James looking down at me with a frown. What the hell happened to him?
