"Of course, I'm in 2-A I'm smart." I flick my hair back and walk away, who did they think they were? A bunch of loser D class students.
"So cold Y/n." He laughed, of course, he does. He likes seeing me like this. After all, he's the one that made me this way.
"What do you want?" I glare at him, Asano Gakushū, the principal's son. Despite his want, they have many things in common, their ginger hair color for one, their cold and confident violet eyes, and how could I forget their cocky attitudes?
"Let me remind you who you are talking to." He says, "or rather, what I'll do if you don't listen." He pulls out his phone and swipes into his gallery.
Every bone in my body goes stone-cold, he laughs again and puts his phone away. "Fine, "I grit out with narrowed eyes, but turn and plaster on a smile regardless, "what do you want."
He smiles with closed eyes, "much better. Now walk with me."
I roll my eyes and pull my arm out of his grasp, "we have class what could be more important than that? Finales are coming up." I state as if he didn't already know that.
"Well, you see I need to get some information about an old friend." He said, admiring the walls of his father's school.
I sigh, "I assume he has a name?"
"What makes you think I'm talking about a guy?" Asano continued through the cafeteria where the 3rd years were having lunch.
I want to cringe at how obvious it was that we do not belong here, no one said anything though. They wouldn't dare contradict Asano, him or his dad.
"Akabane." He finally says, but I don't recognize the name. I wonder if he goes to another school.
"Called it, now does he have a first name?" Asano pushes out of the cafeteria and into the schoolyard. I follow him helplessly, "where are we going?"
"Karma and you'll see."
Akabane Karma? Who names their kid Karma? "Interesting name, what do you want me to find?"
"Anything." He says, "to be specific, anything to get him expelled."
"Why do you have it out for this guy?" I ask, even though I know it's useless to ask.
"That's none of your business." Called it, again.
"Okay, I'll get you something."
Asano came to a stop, we walked across the street as we were talking and I hadn't a clue why, but like the third years; didn't dare contradict him.
"This is where the E class students attend and though he is not in E class, yet, when he slips, I know he hangs around the forest surrounding the class building."
"And how, if I may ask, did you come by this information?" Asano started walking back toward the main campus when I was starting toward the forest.
"I said old friend didn't I?"
I scoff, "how about giving me a day off once in a while?"
"Not likely." He didn't even bother looking back. Dick.
I made my way back to my class which by now is already out at lunch. Asano and his stupid grudges.
Instead of spending my lunch eating, I'm on my computer looking up everything I can on Akabane Karma, if I hadn't been so dumb, maybe I would be eating, maybe I would have friends.
