Chapter Eleven: Byakko On A Shopping-Tour

"Guys, I need you!", Masha exclaims with one hand placed on her hip making the two boys sitting in front of her stare at her with wide eyes. "Please tell me you got some time left besides your training for the sports festival!" 

Kaminari suddenly jumps up from his chair with a confident grin on his face. "Oh Masha, you should know that I will always have time for you.", he states. "Whatever it is that you need from me, you can have everything!" Mineta shoots him a worried glance. "I don't think it's a good idea to offer everything, Kaminari."

The tiger girl smirks amused. "Even Mineta is better at learning his lessons than you." She takes a chair and sits across her two classmates. "I'd really like to show ya just how right he is, but unfortunately I don't have the time right now. I honestly want to ask you two to do me a little favour." As she speaks so seriously to her friends, the electric blond returns to his seat as well and the young girl shows him and the purple-head besides him the colourful flyer for the charity event. 

"The animal shelter my mom works for will hold a gala evening as a charity event to collect donations for the homeless pets. I already talked to Mr. Aizawa and since there will also be some regional pro heroes from smaller agencies around, he decided that it would be a good idea to attend as a class. Like that we'd support the event and at the same time could have a good opportunity to do some networking. Right before the sports festival starts that'd be a great advantage. I've planned to invite the B class and some of our teachers as well. My mom and her colleagues put so much time and effort into this event, it took them months to deal with all the necessary paperwork and to find a location and the sponsors. So now that even our mayor approved, we need as many people as possible and I definitely want to help to make it a big success.", the white and black haired girl explains and the two boys watch her as her amber eyes begin to shine excitedly. 

"And of course you want two handsome young men like us to be your escorts. I understand that.", Kaminari nods with his fingers placed on his chin. Masha snickers and shakes her head slightly. "Better, I want you two to help me choose my dress." Her snickering turns into laughter when her two friends stop breathing and gape at her with their mouths wide open. "I mean... I know boys don't like to go shopping. In fact I'm not a big fan either, but..." They both start waving their hands uncontrollably. "N-No, no, no, no! No way! You got it all wrong! I absolutely love to go shopping. Especially in big shopping malls where many high schoolers are gathering...", Mineta assures her with a leering facial expression. "Oh you mean where many female high schoolers are gathering...", Kaminari specifies with a sassy wink, but goes back to being serious right away. "Aren't girls actually asking other girls to do stuff like that? Not that I want to complain, I'd love to accompany you to a shopping tour as well."

The young cat girl sighs much to the boy's surprise. "To be honest I'm not the slightest bit interested in fashion and I'm not good with it either. But my mom's boss suddenly decided to make me a kind of a guest of honour or special guest or however you call that, because I always do voluntary work for them during my school vacations. And since I've entered U.A.'s hero course now, I think they probably want to advertise a bit with a future pro hero supporting them. So I'll be something like the poster girl of the event and I'll also be doing the first dance of the evening and stuff like that.", she continues her explanation as the grins of her two classmates grow wider and wider. "I decided to wear something absolutely mind-blowing, so I thought asking boys would make much more sense than asking another girl. You two would know what you'd like to see me wearing right? And I'm trusting you enough that you will take this matter seriously and won't tell me to go in a negligee or something even more inappropriate for the public. Well, at least I hope that I can leave this to you guys." 

As the two boys look at each other teary-eyed, Kaminari speaks up again. "Mineta! I'm so touched... Masha trusts us with something so important!" The small purple haired boy stands up on his chair and pumps his fist into the air enthusiastically. "Let's do this!", he yells and some of their classmates turn around to shoot him confused glances. "You can count on us, we'll be very sure to dress you up properly. Am I right, Kaminari?!", he adds a little bit calmer, but still not able to hide his smirk full of anticipation. The electric blond nods and high-fives his buddy. "We're totally in!", he assures Masha and she smiles genuinely. "Thank you!~" Even as she leaves the two behind, the cat girl is still able to hear them cooing and swooning about the fact that they'll soon be able to see her in various kinds of sexy dresses and she chuckles about her friends, hoping that they won't let her do their personal fashion show for too long.
