Chapter 1: Nico's POV

Okay, so when I tallied up all your votes it ended up being during college.

Today was my first day at New Rome University of Art. I was excited, but I was going to be seperated from Will.

Luckily, both of our schools ended at the same time, so we'd have the same schedule.

Will and I had been together for a year at this point. We were happily married and we were now going to school.

I looked up from the landscape I was drawing to glance at the professer, who had been glaring at me the whole class.

She was now walking around the classroom, examining the landscapes we were working on.

When Mrs. Matthews got to me, she marvled at my drawing. I don't think she was expecting it to look as good as it did.

Mrs. Matthews smiled at me, "Nico. You make beautiful artwork." I studdered, "T-Thank you."

Mrs. Matthews gave me a pat on the back and then she continued around the room, rarely stopping to admire a student's artwork.

When I was finished, my landscape was the area around Zeus' Fist. It wasn't what it normaly looked like though. It was overgrown with flowers and vines in my landscape, while it was usually closely cropped and well maintained.

As I was looking over my painting, the bell rang. Before I could leave, my teacher pulled me aside and asked, "Nico, would you like an independent study?" I grinned, "I would love to have an independent study."

Just like that, on my first day of class, I already had my free period filled up.

The rest of the day went by in a blur, as I couldn't stop thinking about seeing Will.

When I got home, Will was sitting on the couch waiting for me. I waltzed over and settled in his lap, "How was your day?" Will wrapped his arms around me, "Good, I aced the first pop quiz." I leaned back into Will's chest, "I got an independent study."
