Julian casually leaned against the bar counter of her small kitchen, standing just as tall as she remembered. The living room in her place was also quite tiny, so the two were basically ten feet away from each other as Meli trained her gun on the man.

Could she admit that this was probably the craziest thing to happen to her in all the years of her short life? Possibly, but more than anything she was confused about how and why Julian was in her apartment in the first place.

Like she had told Renaldo the day before, she never planned to see these men ever again, so twice in a two-day timespan was not exactly a stroke of fate.

It was obvious to her that she had just entered into the land of Caroline Kepnes and was being used as the object of some psychopath's obsession—Joe Goldberg be damned. At least Guinevere Beck didn't have sex with her stalker on her first night meeting him, her fleeting thoughts annoyingly reminded.

"What the fuck are you doing here", she almost yelled in fury. Maybe it was the fact that his home little invasion had left her extremely unfulfilled in the orgasm department or possibly it was a case of the psycho intruder playing with her favorite gun as if he would use it at any moment against her, but Meli was irate.

Julian's eyes lit up again in seriousness and her mind went back to that time in the bathroom. He is absolutely bat-shit crazy.

"I obviously interrupted something", he said nodding to her blanket. Psychopathic club-owner still hadn't moved a muscle, even though the barrel of Meli's gun stared him almost directly in the face.

Why was he not afraid?

Crazy remember?

"If you don't get your psychotic ass out of my apartment, I will shoot you in the fucking neck and watch you bleed out on the floor." Her face was full of disgust and she still had yet to process the fact that he was able to find where she lived in the first place.

Then she was reminded of Renaldo's words. "My brother is not the type of guy to get involved with. He dangerous."

Well, Renaldo, that warning was about one hookup too late.

"Your words gatita, they are always so sharp. I'm sure you're serious too, and that's why it's so sexy every time you open your lovely little mouth."

What the hell was this man on about?

Melicia was not in the mood for back and forth. Her body was tired from the day and her sex drive had plummeted. No matter how fine Julian was, and he was a fucking masterpiece in her eyes, she still had no problem ruining his looks by lodging a bullet between both of those cold brown eyes.

Without another word, she fixed the gun to the side of him and easily fired the weapon, a hot bullet grazing his ear in the process. Unlike the Glock that Julian held, this gun had a silencer attached so the shot sounded as if someone had simply tossed a rock at him but hit the cabinet instead.

"Just so you know, I never miss. So I advise you to get the hell out before the next one hits that pretty face of yours"

Julian's hand went to his ear astonishingly and when he pulled it away examining the blood leaking from his ear, his eyes shifted a deep black—which Meli didn't think was possible since they were already like onyx. She couldn't say that the scene didn't absolutely terrify her, because it did. This man was a stalker—possible serial killer—and he had just taken that shot as if it didn't even hurt.
