F/N = friend name
R/N = Random name

I was immensely frail. I had no use for my limbs and the bags under my eyes could carry a family of five's groceries. I had only one friend, F/N, and we talked a lot. Well, I mostly listened. I had a tumor in my chest and as it got bigger, the pain made it harder for me to speak. I would probably die soon, I thought.

It was night time, and it had been dark for around an hour. I only slept rarely , as the pain of breathing kept me awake. F/N however, was sleeping soundly beside me. I heard some clattering in the hall, and figured it was just nurses preparing medicine or something. I quickly learned that that was not the case.

I heard lots of banging and screams, and thumps of bodies falling to the floor or hitting a wall. The horrible sounds of tearing flesh. A patient attempted to escape into the room we were in, but when he tried to close the door he died. The door was flung open with so much force his skull was crushed between it and the wall. I had known who he was, I knew his name. It was R/N. He often visited me and F/N. All I could do was stare at his body and the blood seeping from beneath him.

There was so much blood.

F/N was awake now, and she was screaming. The thing that killed r/n came towards us at such insane speeds F/N couldn't react in time. I was forced to watch as her throat was ripped out. I had to watch the only person who cared about me get eaten alive. Now I am the one screaming. The strange humanoid creature was on me now.  I was afraid to die yes, but all I could think was F/N.

F/N... F/N...

I was only able to scream and cry when the creature slashed at my chest. The pain was worse than I'd felt before, but I didn't notice it, I couldn't. I could only look at F/N's mangled nothing of a corpse, and listen to the screams of nurses and patients alike in the other rooms. I heard doctors trying to fight the creatures only for silence to ensue.

I saw the thing on me go flying into the wall, and flowers blocked me from any harm. The flowers also blocked me from F/N, however, and all I could do was try to call out to her, but I lost consciousness almost immediately. All I could do was cry in the darkness and curse
R/N for bringing the monster to F/N. She might have survived if he hadn't opened our door. She might have survived if I wasn't so useless and weak.

F/N...

F/N I'm sorry...

F/N come back...

Forgive me...
