"Scorched Earth" - AU Endeavor x Reader

Chapter 1

[Ch 1 of "Scorched Earth", a series of AU Endeavor x 3rd person F reader smutty one-shots. She has no first name, no hair/eye/skin color, all so the reader can easily self-insert. Endeavor is still an *asshole* but not abusive to his wife/children in this AU. He's divorced and his kids mostly hate him, but still intact as a family. We all know the anime/manga version of him is traaaash. I made the reader-insert's quirk overpowered, but this will be a series of one-shots for smut rather than a detailed plot about her quirk, so buckle up mf'ers! PREVIEW BEFORE WE SET THE SCENE: "If this comes down to a fight, I won't go easy on you, girl." He tugged at the drawstring of his robe so the front fell open as he prowled forward, revealing his long and stiff length standing at attention, pearly beads of anticipation dribbling down the tip. She gasped and froze, unable to tear her eyes away from the sight before realizing it was a distraction. He used it as an opportunity to rush forward, moving faster than she thought possible, his fingers curling around her throat when she was within reach. The flames on his face had flared to life, a manic grin on his lips.

Endeavor stood on the perimeter of the vacant arena beside Redmane, the young lady's step-father. Her mother was attractive for someone in her 40's with a fire and earth hybridized-quirk similar to Redmane's, surrounded by a gaggle of children with Redmane's crimson hair all under 10 years old, each one looking at their oldest half-sibling with mixed awe and curiosity.

The girl's full and half-siblings were all products of quirk-marriages going back generations with the goal of creating overpowered progeny, and her hybridization was likely the strongest of them all. Redmane was determined to marry her off, certain her other siblings would fall into line after, leaving him with only his own children to take care of going forward.

Redmane strode out to the center of the ring where she stood, his posture tense and argumentative, Endeavor unable to hear the hushed words they hurriedly exchanged.

"What is this, some kind of fucking audition?" She hissed out from under her hood, glaring from her step-father to the enormous celebrity hero watching her from the sidelines, flames a hazy aura around his face and hands.

"Just a quick demonstration. If you can manage to not fuck this up, you'll get to live abroad here. Isn't that what you wanted?" He stomped on the ground, a chunk of the arena floor levitating and catching fire, slowly turning into molten rock, ready and waiting to be hurled towards her.

Endeavor's attention was rapt. She could deprive the air of oxygen to extinguish Redmane's flames or pressurize the air to send his projectiles back at him, erect barriers of ice and water using a skin of liquid at her hip as a source, and heave or buckle the earth -- the potential was endless. She had gotten her air and water hybridization from her deceased father, Tensen Maven, while the fire and earth quirks were from her remarried mother. If either of his two oldest sons took a liking to her, their children would be powerful, but getting them to agree to a quirk marriage like he and Rei had before their divorce was going to be quite the hurdle. He hoped by bringing her onto his hero agency, some forced proximity might increase the odds one of them would fall for her...she was objectively stunning in the photos he saw, after all.

When the demonstration was done, Redmane was striding back to the bench his wife and children sat at, looking smug despite his defeat -- but he wasn't trying to win, he was trying to marry off his oldest step-child. She was still at the center of the ring, smoothing out the arena floor to erase all the gouges and craters their short sparring match had created.
