'Jordan can you please tell your sister to turn the music down' My stepmom said standing at my room door. I nodded my head placing my controller on my bed before getting up.
'Yo Max, mom said turn the music down' I stood in front of her door. But she only ignored me. So I walked over to her speaker and unplugged it. Causing her to whine.
'Hey! Why would you do that!' She yelled. I rolled my eyes. 'If you heard me, I said mom said turn it down' with a bored tone.
'Well you all should know that I'm playing Billie Eilish so why would I turn it down' I looked at her with little to no expression.
'Max look you can listen to your music but keep it down okay?' I sighed ready to go back to playing my game.
'Yea yea whatever, but I gotta question Jordy' I turned back towards her. Waiting for her to ask her question.
'Can you maybe...like...kinda' I got irritated. 'Maxine if you don't hurry up and ask your question is will force it out of you' I said with a stern tone.
She rolled her eyes. ' I was going to ask if you can take me to the Billie Eilish concert that's next week, mom said she couldn't take me neither can dad so they said ask you' I looked at her like she had two heads.
I laughed to the point my stomach started hurting. I open my eyes wiping the tears before looking at her. She had a serious look on her face.
'Oh...your serious...aren't you' she nodded her head rapidly. I sighed. 'Fine I will take you only on one condition, you have to clean and do my chores for the rest of the week' I said with a proud smile.
She groaned. 'Don't groan now I don't have to take you I can just go out with my friends for all that' I smirked at her. She shook her head.
'Fine fine I will do them for a week..please take me this would mean the world to me' she begged.
'Mhm that's what I thought, now don't bother me for the rest of the day, and keep the music down' I closed her door behind me, before walking to my room.
I felt my phone buzz, so I picked it up and seen that Nova texted me. Nova is the only person I'm really close with in my friend group. Me and her talk about everything.
I told her about what happened to my real mom and what happened to the man that killed her and kept me hidden for those years. But that's a story for another time.
