Bf basically couldn't process that she was actually real and alive but corrupted. Hes body is in frozen state. He starts missing notes and starts breaking in tears but he doesn't expect what happens next.
Gf: "Oh dear, seems like you're missing a lot of notes."
Gf: "It's alright dear, just cry."
Gf: "Let's sing for one last time."
Gf and Bf had a duel with each other. Bf continues to cry while dueling with Gf, knowing that this will be his last chance singing with her. He just couldn't accept the fact of leaving her, so he walks up to her and hugs her. He hugs him back, patting his back
