Alright guys...sit down, I have a confession to make.

I might seem smart in class. I might be quiet and introverted with others I don't know. But I can be very, very forgetful. I can forget to eat. I can forget my bag. One time, I forgot Bonnie in the house, even if she could float through anything. In retrospect, I think she just wanted the door held open for her...

...but yeah. Sorry Asriel. I MIGHT have forgotten the meeting...and all that clicked in my mind when I was on the couch right after school. In fact, it clicked for both of us. We were watching a sitcom, and suddenly-

"...WAIT, YOU FORGOT TO-"

"SON OF A BIT-"

So yeah. You can tell how that went. I had to prepare myself to get the courage to call him and apologize for forgetting, then when I finally picked up the phone, I realized that I didn't have his phone number. So there we sat, panicking as I was coming to terms with that I MIGHT have already screwed over one of my first friendships, and then...

...oh god, someone knocked on my door. Oh god, was that Asriel? Oh no. Oh no. He figured it out. He found out that I forgot, and now he tracked me down to my own house to kill me as payment. I have to barricade the doors. I have to escape through the-

"I- Open the door, dum dum!"

Wha? Where am I? Oh yeah...umm...

Knock Knock  "Oi! Ryan! You in here? I uh...I THINK this is your house anyway!"

...he doesn't sound angry at all? Huh...cool.

Shaking myself out of it, I take a deep breath, and approached the door.

"Oh Gods, please let this be Ryan's house, and not some old lady's-" I unlocked, and opened the door, to see a praying goat. "-oh! Heyyy! Ryan! You're not an old lady!"

...what a nice observation. I look at myself, then back up at him, my eyebrow arched. I could hear Bonnie giggling from behind me. "...I...don't think I am?"

He groaned, and rubbed the bridge of his nos- I mean snout- and shook his head. "No...I just...well...I mean..." He chuckled nervously, and refused to meet my gaze. "...I mean, yay, I got your house second try!"

...second? I look to my left and sure enough...it was an old lady. She didn't even look mad...she just looked horribly confused. Before I started to space out in those thoughts though, Asriel tapped my shoulder, and shook his head. "Hey hey, don't look at her for too long! She'll think you're trying to mind control her..." He...seemed to be speaking in experience. "Urgh...oh whatever, just...are you ready?"

"...?" I blinked, and tilted my head, and caught myself. "...oh, you want me to visit now?" He nodded, his confident smile back on display.

"Yep! I assumed that since you went home, I thought you had to get something done! So...I waited about an hour, I followed the route that I almost...ah...heh...run you over..." He squeaked that last bit. "...and found your house by trial and error!"

...there was a lot to process there. One, he was, I'll admit, a pretty cool goat, for considering I had something to do, even when in reality the only thing I was doing was being stupid. Two...this guy followed me home, and knows my address. Holy crap. "...alllllright then!" I was DEFINITELY not gonna linger on that topic.

He perked up, grinning. "...so are you ready to go?"

I nodded, then picked up my bag from the door. "Yep...ready when you are!"

With a smirk, he twirled his key chain in his finger, and walked down the steps, motioning my over to the car, then turned back. "Oh! Your parents are okay with this, right?"

...I suddenly froze in my steps, right after locking the door. Oh boy...how do I explain this...

"...Ryan?"

...she came up behind me and sighed softly, patting my shoulder. "...they would have wanted you to make friends anyway, Ry..."
