Dream Cassie's POV:

I walked around in the mansion again, sighing. "There's no way I'm back here," I thought, "so, I have got to be dreaming." I sighed and looked down into the lair of the white pumpkin calmly, only to then see a gloved hand crawl out, followed by a second gloved hand that was holding an enchanted diamond axe. The figure spoke, it said, "I̷̮̫̒̈́̿'̵̜̔͠͝Ḿ̴͕̳̯̒ ̸̡̿̐B̴̰͍̿̀̽Ǎ̷̢̟͙̾̅C̶̜̅̕K̴̭͈̈́͑̅~̴̻̮͆!̷̤͗͝!̴̣̜̑̎͆!̶̙̙̙̂̊" as it began to lift itself out of the pit. I recognized the voice, it was The White Pumpkin, my alter ego. As I crawled back, fearing for my life, The White pumpkin Crawled out of the pit, their face had the slash from Jessie's blade. The White Pumpkin shouted, "Ć̸̥Õ̶̙M̸̨͝E̸͉̊ ̵̦͐Ĥ̴̙E̵̮̚R̶̯̂E̵͇̔ ̶̨̿C̴͍̎A̸̝͐S̴͎̉S̸̯̚Ȋ̵̱E̸͇͠~̸̰͑!̴͈̊!̸͕͛!̴͙͆" and raised the axe above their head, laughing maniacally as they did so. I barely dodged out of the way of the axe blade as I grabbed a nearby sword to defend myself with. I shouted, "How are you here!?" holding the sword.

The White Pumpkin shouted, "I̶͉͂ ̵̱̿W̸̱̚Í̴̫L̵̲̿L̴͎͒ ̶̛͖H̸̢̔A̵͖͌V̵̫̀E̴̟̽ ̵̬̌M̶̮̅Ŷ̷̤ ̴̰͑F̸͖̒Ȓ̵̜E̶͓̅Ȅ̵͎D̸̘͘Ǒ̵͉M̴̲͐!̵̟͆!̶̥͌!̸̤̓" as they leapt towards me. I blocked they're axe with my sword as I struggled. I tried to think: I couldn't outsmart them, I couldn't outmaneuver them, and I couldn't outfight them; so, what could I do? I struggled, barely dodging attacks, trying to think of how to stop The White Pumpkin. It was at that moment, I realized something that I, honestly, should've a long time ago. Right as the white pumpkin was about to strike, I shouted, "WAIT, if you kill me, won't you die too!?" and immediately closed my eyes, but nothing happened. I opened my eyes to see the axe blade stopped right at my chest. "Ẁ̴͜-̷̰̇.̴̞͠.̶̨͗.̸̮́ ̷̗̈́W̵̰͊ḧ̵̤́ą̵̚ṯ̶̈́.̵͍͆.̷̧͠.̶͍̉?̴̭͆" Asked the white pumpkin, confusion and somewhat fear in their eyes, no, in our eyes. I pulled the axe out of my hands and put it aside.

I said, "We've... always been the same person. Haven't we?", while smiling reassuringly at what I now knew was myself. My other half said, "Ȉ̴̹.̴̼̏.̷̦̂.̸̳̈́ ̶̗̈́w̸̪͂h̷̖̓-̴̨̽.̷̪̐.̴̨͂.̸̹̓ ̷͈̐ẁ̴̙e̶͇̐ ̵̜͋h̴̎͜a̵̠̽v̶̟̉e̷̱͋.̵̰̾.̷͎͌.̴̱͛?̴̎ͅ" looking at me as I slowly, and calmly, removed the White Pumpkin Mask, revealing my own face, with yellow eyes and a scar across my face. The expression on my reflection was a mixture, a mixture of shock, fear, and guilt. "We have." I said, looking at myself with a calm and reassuring expression. "I don't know why I thought otherwise, or, why we believed otherwise." I said, caressing my own freckled cheeks as my reflection began to cry. My reflection asked, "W-What do we do now...? as they began to sob.

"Well, -" I said, looking at the axe before grabbing it. "-we can start by beginning to be one in the same again." I put the axe back into my reflections right hand, holding it with my own as I helped myself up. "You're right." Said my reflection with a smile. My reflection sniffled before wiping the tears from they're eyes, from my eyes.

Cassie's POV:

I woke up, and looked up, blushing a little as I realized, Lukas and I were snuggling. I then, looked at my reflection in the nearby mirror block. My face, now, had a faded scar across it, and I had one yellow eye. I smiled and sighed. "Tomorrow is a new day for a new and old me." I said before drifting back to sleep.
