Hi guys!

No one's POV
Greninja uses water shuriken Maximum power!!!
Charizard use Dragon claws to break those shurikens.
Ahhhh!!!
There is no point in Turing back Charizard! Let's give it all we have!

A ginormous explosion happened which produces dense black smoke to appear in the stadium.

After a few seconds when the smoke cleared. All saw both pokemons were breathing heavily. Both of them don't want to give up. In their eyes, we can see the determination, flames which were burning in their eyes for victory and glory but all know that to achieve that any one of them must fall.

They were struggling to stand up on their legs. Their legs were trembling and their bodies were shivering by looking at them anyone says that it's a tie.
Then Charizard was about fall but managed to not fall as one of his hand touches land and another was on its knees but Greninja who was managing himself to stand up on his legs suddenly passed out. As his eyes went swirl Referee announced Alain as the victor of the match as well as the new Kalos champion too.

Ash's POV

When Greninja’s eyes swirled and he collapsed, it felt like the ground beneath me gave way. I hit the floor, every ounce of energy drained from my body. Exhaustion flooded through me, but so did something darker—defeat. Slowly, I forced myself to stand again, my legs trembling as the referee’s voice echoed across the stadium. Alain was the new Kalos Champion. The victor. The moment I had chased for years had slipped through my fingers once again.

I could feel my emotions clawing their way to the surface, but I fought them down, burying the disappointment deep inside. I approached Alain, my rival, my friend. We shook hands, a promise passing between us.

"Next time we meet, we’ll battle again," Alain said with confidence.

I nodded, but inside, I knew the truth. He didn’t know that this was my final battle. There wouldn’t be a next time. I was done.

As I turned and walked toward the locker room, a storm brewed inside me. Each step felt heavier than the last. This wasn’t just a loss—it was the end. The path I had followed for so long, the dream that had fueled me since I was a kid, was over. I was done chasing after being a Pokémon Master. Done fighting. I’d go back to school, maybe get a job. Settle down.

The thought hit me harder than any punch.

This was my final battle.
And no one knew it but me.

Serena's POV
A

fter such an intense battle, I could hardly believe it—Ash had lost. Again. He trained so hard, poured everything he had into this, and still… defeat. My heart ached for him. I knew he must be devastated. No one understood his passion, his drive, like I did. He never shows it, but I could always tell when the weight of failure weighed him down. I had to find him. I had to be there for him.

My boyfriend.

The thought crossed my mind as I hurried through the stadium corridors, searching for him. It’s been six months since we officially became a couple, ever since he lost his second battle to Wulfric. Funny how it happened. I had been holding back my feelings for so long, always by his side, always supporting him, until one day during training, it just slipped out. I told him I loved him, that I’d loved him for years, and he’d been so clueless, so dense to my affection.

But now? Now everything was different. We were together, and I needed to be there for him more than ever.

I had a hunch where he’d go. I knew him too well. After all these years, I could find him even in a crowd of thousands. As I rounded the corner, I saw him—shoulders slumped, lost in thought. The sight of him made my heart squeeze. I could see the weight of the world pressing down on him.

Without thinking, I called out, "There you are!"

Relief washed over me as I finally saw him, but deep down, I knew this wasn’t over. He needed more than just comfort.

Ash's POV

I was lost in my own thoughts, the weight of everything crashing down on me, when I heard footsteps echoing through the quiet. Then came a familiar voice, breaking the silence.

"There you are!"

Serena’s voice sounded relieved, but I wasn’t. Not in that moment. I turned and saw her standing there, her expression soft, concerned. She didn’t know what I had decided. Not yet.

"Hey, Sere, what are you doing here?"
I tried to keep my tone casual, but even I could hear the strain in my voice. It felt strange to see her right now, like I wasn’t ready to face her.

"You know I saw everything..." She started, her voice soft, but I wasn’t in the mood for sympathy.

"Well, congratulations, Sherlock. You should get a medal for that observation," I cut her off, rolling my eyes in an attempt to deflect. But I couldn’t keep this up. Not anymore.

There was something I needed to say. Something she wasn’t expecting.

"Serena?" My voice lowered, the weight of what I was about to say pressing down on me.

"Yes, Ash?" She responded, her innocence only making it harder.

I hesitated for a moment, feeling the words burn in my throat. But I couldn’t hold it back anymore.
"I need to talk to you about something." The suspense hung between us, thick and heavy.

Her eyes searched mine, full of worry. "What is it?"

I took a deep breath, the words that followed cutting through the air like a blade.

"I want to break up with you."
