Did you know that in Turkey the letter "C" doesn't sound like how it is for us English speakers. Here is a picture of the Turkish alphabet with an example of what I'm talking about:

So any name that starts with the letter "C", is pronounced as if it's the letter "J". If you say his name it sounds more like John, and not can 🥫 like we would say it in the English language. It is not exactly John, but it is very very similar. Hope I am not offending anyone with this explanation, but I thought it would be cool to give an explanation to everyone who doesn't know.
