Reconnection

(October 14th)
*month after the murder*

"Ms.Spampinato, please tell me the events leading up to the murder of Jake Greenwood" the FBI agent repeatedly said to me over and over as I sat there in complete silence.

And right before she could ask me again i inhaled and exhaled as slow as possible. Okay, so where do you want me to start? I asked the agent. Umm how about the day you arrived in town. Okay, so it was September 14th and I'd just got back from Italy..I was visiting friends and family.

When I got a text from Danielle saying "Hey, I heard you were in town and I was wondering if you would like to catch up I really miss you and would love to see you" I was so happy to see that she texted so of course I replied and she invited me over to her house for a little chat.

It was early in the morning so I said okay and I went there around 9 in the morning. I was so nervous to see her, I pulled up in the driveway and it felt like I was about to receive a million dollars. I got out the car and knocked on the door and when she opened it I froze she had this V cut tank top and it revealed various amounts of her softly tanned skin.

The only thing I could think about Was how she would look without it on. Anyways, we greeted Each other like normally. "Hi, Bella" my heart started beating really fast it felt like I had a third heartbeat.

I replied with "Hi,Bella" and then she hugged me and I took my hand and gently rubbed her back. She smelled so good like a tropical forest I could've stood there all day. She invited me and I heard a sound coming from down the hallway.

I turned to see what it was and It was a dog, "A dog!?" The agent said back to me in a almost concerned voice. Yeah, a dog Ford the name was really cute and all considering that Danielle is your typical country girl in the city. We sat down and we're talking. "So how was Italy?" It's was good, actually I had so much fun with friends and family.

"Aww that's good!" Danielle says as she scoots closer to me. Nervously I replied with "Yeah, so what made you get a dog?" Umm, I don't know you I guess. I just love how close you and Jeff are.

Danielle slides closer to me as we are sitting on the couch and then I face her direction. But there was a knock at the door and Danielle goes "SHIT". What's wrong Bella ? Uhh nothing imma just going to get the door. I'm sitting on the couch and I can hear her Danielle she seemed really upset at who ever was at then door and then I hear a man.

"A man!?" The agent says was it Jake ?
