..You make me wanna be a better man...

He wrapped the dark wool scarf tightly around his neck, wrapping up the slain cheeks and the red nose. He packed his hands deep into his coat pockets as he walked slowly and crunchingly along the snow, but his cool fingers were still freezing. It didn't help that he kept them tucked close together, the cold had long since spread over his hands and made them tremble in longing for warmth. His dark eyes wandered, Taehyung was so lost in his own world, that he wasn't actually a part of reality anymore, but he was snapped out of his thoughts by a snowflake, which gracefully settled on his long eyelashes after dancing in the winter breeze settled down. He looked up only briefly, the young man only caught a faint outline of the icy dancer. And although he was shivering from the cold, a soft smile crept onto his lips, which he warmed with the scarf. He pulled his warm cap deeper over his forehead and carefully put his ears under them since they were already turning slightly pink. If this continued, he would probably end up like a popsicle. He breathed quietly, the hot air that rose misty in the cold air in front of him looked like smoke, just like how one used to pretend it was, back then as a small child. Breathing into the cold night sky and claimed to have smoked a cigar like the grown-ups. And you always felt so big and proud. And while Taehyung would have liked to feel big and proud now, today he felt small and humiliated. He was desperate, alone, and...upset. But still happy about life. But on the other hand, the young man could complain about his miserable existence for days without a break.  Why, why did you want to grow up so quickly as a child?  And now that you were there, you wanted to go back to the carefree times.  But it was already too late for that.  Just like him.  He was late, again.  As always.  Sighing, he trudged on, although his fingers tingled to stay and hold on for a few more moments.  The camera dangled slightly but noticeably around his neck, tapping his chest gently in time with his footsteps.  He listened.  The camera pounded against his chest to the beat of his heart.  It almost got him getting philosophical now.  And although he felt melancholic and light, his heart was heavy, he could hardly carry it anymore.  Was tempted to leave it behind to move on.  Too heavy, too much burden, but still he went on.  His eyes, now tired, caught the bench in the park, covered with light traces of snow, towards which he was now walking.  As if he were being pulled closer with an invisible rope since he could pull at his heart.  But it was just mind, crazy mind at this time of year.  Who longed for warmth and love.  Not just the mind, the heart, and the body.  Taehyung himself. But he only had his warmth and love to offer, even if that wasn't enough for him alone.  He gently brushed the snow off the bench and sat down, leaning back and briefly closing his eyes.  But his heavy heart didn't want to leave him alone and hit him hard in the chest, almost throwing him forward.  Sighing, he opened his eyes and saw her.  Her beauty was indescribable, so untouched, innocent, and pure.  He looked at her with a sigh, the brown eyes became very soft, and warm and his heart very light.  And he felt how it slowly detached from him and floated towards her.  He could only watch helplessly as the heart took hold of her.  His love would now also belong to her.  And he knew, even if he didn't have enough of it, he would always make sure it was more than enough for her.  And shower them with warmth and love all the time.  And let her beauty flourish and care for her.  But she was lonely it seemed.  No other beauty had joined her and it seemed like she was hanging her head at that very moment. Taehyung was torn inside, but seeing her so fragile hurt him deeply.  He would hold her and promise her the security she deserved.  He couldn't bring himself to let her break.  Slowly he walked towards her, the snow crunched under his steps, quiet and yet as loud as the pounding in his chest.  "Feel the warmth next to me
I want you to hold me with your beautiful hands.  I'll keep you safe.  I'll spend the rest of my life in your white eyes.", he started humming, but eventually, it turned into a melody that melted sweetly on his tongue like honey. Carefully and tenderly he stretched out his hand,  he didn't want to destroy its beauty. Carefully he touched the petals of the rosebud, which very soon would fully open into a beautiful rose. The red petals were covered with frost, which gave the bud a certain touch. In quiet wonder, he touched the bud gently before pulling out something. A water bottle to give her some water. He might as well give her some hot water to warm her up a bit, but he didn't want to take the risk of harming her. "So alone.  He asked the beauty politely, giving her a charming smile. She didn't answer, but it was answer enough for him, so he sat down next to her and gave her some water.  "Well..isn't it lonely out here?" he asked her as he flopped down in the snow and looked at her, the bud still pointing towards the sun, again no answer he said with a smile and waved at the sun. "Thank you for taking care of her," he thanked the sun and covered his eyes when it greeted him with bright, warm rays. "So nice and warm..", he giggled and looked at the bud again. "You're not mad at me, are you?  I...really wanted to come earlier, really," it came after a long silence. He looked away, but he could feel her eyes on him. "I...I'm here anyway, aren't I?  I'll always be here, love," he then tried to lift the spirits, but his lips, his voice trembled. It wasn't the cold, no. He quickly wiped his dark eyes, which had taken on a suspicious glow.  His dark brown eyes were already as deep and dark as shadows when his head mechanically turned to the bud that seemed to be looking at him reproachfully "I'm sorry..." he breathed, bowing his head, a nondescript, light hand  She lay against his cold-killed cheeks and he closed his eyes as he felt her lean against his forehead, and her forehead nestled against his so that they became one and he felt her presence deep inside like himself nestled her soul against his own and fused the two into one.
