He Promised

It was a Tuesday, Ava had P.E. and Ethan had science. Sense the gym was near the sience class Ava and Ethan would meet each other and walk through the halls until they had to separate to go to their next class. As Ava was walking towards Ethan, Julia shoved Ava a little. "Nice workout yeah? You should do it more often?" Said Julia. Ava looked over at Ethan who clearly heard but didn't do anything. "What is that supposed to mean?" She asked Julia. "Oh, are you that dumb that you can't take a hint? You're a little bit on the chubby side. Wait did I say a little? I mean a lot. " Julia laughed. "Is that a problem for you?" Ava said hoping Ethan would help her, instead of just stand there. "No but I bet it's a problem for Ethan. I bet, deep down inside, he's dying for you to lose weight." Julia said leaning in. Ava looked at Ethan as he was walking away with Karina, a skinny, pretty girl. Julia laughed and walked away. Alexis and Tory, her best friends found her crying in the bathroom and comforted her. They went home with Ava to do homework and help her through her problem, when Ethan called. "Put it on speaker! Put it on speaker!" Tory said. "Okay okay shut up, don't say anything. " Ava said answering. "Hello?" She said. "Hey baby girl, I'm sorry about earlier, I was going to say something to Julia I um.... I was just making sure that you know how to defend yourself properly incase I'm not there, I hope you understand Im terribly sorry. I love you." Ethan said. "It's okay, I understand. I love you too, Ethan" Ava said smiling. "Okay thats good, hey I was wondering-" Ethan was cut off by somebody. "Ethan who are you talking to? We have to study." Said an unknown girl laughing. As Ava was about to say something Ethan hung up, or maybe it was the girl. Ava slouched her shoulders upset. Alexis and Tory gave each other confused looks. "I mean they were just studying, Right?" Ava said trying to not think negative.

"Karina, what the fuck!" Ethan said after she hung up. "What? Who gives a shit about Ava? Pay attention to me." Karina said jumping on Ethans lap and wrapping her arms around her neck. Ethan pushed her off, "Get off of me." He said angrily. "What's wrong? Im just trying to have fun." Ava said. "Leave, now." Ethan said pointing towards the door. "You know what, you were following through with the deal but now you're not. You're going to regret this." Karina said, then walked out. How could this get any worse? Ethan thought as he called Ava back and appolgized again. They ended uo Face Timing while doing their homework, Alexis and Tory still there. All four of them having a good time.
