For Luna

It was the day before Christmas, almost like how many other Christmas related stories started, but that wasn't the point. It was close to midnight, and one certain person, Luna, couldn't fall asleep. Perhaps she didn't even want to do so, many others stayed awake, and there was a lot on her mind.

The teen was laying down on her comfortable bed, which usually, wasn't anything like this. Why did everything seem to change around night time? Others could most likely make a list. But anyway, that still wasn't the important thing. Luna lay in her bed, her phone in one hand, and music playing through the headphones.

It had taken a decent amount of time for her to find some songs that Luna would actually enjoy. Why? The answer was simple: Christmas songs will always play. You can never escape those songs around this time, especially on Christmas Eve. In fact, it would be surprising to not hear any of those songs.

In her other hand was a controller, which she had some hard time finding, mainly because it was in some boxes, and it was the middle of the night. Luna was tired, and she had been stumbling around, only using the flashlight on her phone to look around the room.

There had been multiple games that Luna had decided to play in the last couple of hours, before becoming bored, and switching to another one. The first one that she had played for a while was Mario Odyssey, which she quit playing for two reasons. 1. She'd gotten interested in another game, and 2. She was stuck on a hard boss.

The next game that Luna had played, or at least attempted to play, had been Doki Doki Literature Club. The only reason that she never actually played it was because it kept glitching, for whatever reason, and then needed to be updated. And knowing how those usually went, it wouldn't be finished until tomorrow.

And now, the game that Luna was currently playing, was Undertale. It was the pacifist route, of course. She couldn't bare to do anything to the characters, especially Toriel and Papyrus. Speaking of the skeleton brother, Luna had just finished up the little battle with him, luckily without harming him or anything. It was time for a date.

As she moved Frisk around to follow Papyrus into his house, so that they could start the date, Luna began to think over a couple of things. Mainly about this Christmas, and what she figured that she'd be getting in the morning. While it wasn't as exciting as it was when she was younger, Luna still enjoyed a few things about the holiday.

There was a certain game that she had been wanting for some time now, especially since she tended to love other RPG type games as well. From what Luna had seen, mostly from a few clips of gameplay, it seemed to be pretty fun and a pretty big game. That just made Luna more excited.

As the date with Papyrus was finished up, and she got friendzoned by the skeleton, Luna suddenly felt incredibly tired. While she wanted to at least try and continue the game, or set everything in its original place, Luna couldn't. As she collapsed back onto the bed, and fell asleep.

Merry Christmas ^^
