CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!

Hello everyone! I hope you had/have a good Christmas!

This has nothing to do with the actual plot of the story! This is just a small extra story and will not affect the actual one. 

3RD POV

You awoke with a small yawn, rubbing the tired from your eyes you slowly sat up, glancing at the other beds of the butterfly estate room.

Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were still asleep, you always woke up early due to your previous harsh training.

You had nothing to do, so you got up and stared out the window, watching the sky turn a yellowish-orange as the sun starts to rise.

It wasn't often you go to see such a beautiful sight, so you enjoyed it while you could.

"Ah! Y/N, you're already awake" Tanjiro smiled and you nod, "Yes, I awoke about 30 minutes ago.." you say and he nods.

"Y/N-chan~" Zenitsu called and jumped onto your waist happily, seeming more excited than usual. You rose an eyebrow but decided not to question it.

Tanjiro gasped and fell to the ground as Inosuke harshly headbutt his back, "HAHAHA!" he cackled. Tanjiro whined and rubbed his back "Inosuke! What was that for?".

"Ohayou" Shinobu called to your left, scaring the living daylights out of everyone except you.

"Ah, Shinobu-san!" Tanjiro grinned.

She smiled at him "Yes, we'll be putting up Christmas decorations today!" she said cheerfully making Zenitsu squeal, Tanjiro shine and me and Inosuke let out confused noises.

"Hah?" Inosuke said "The hell's Christmas?" he said "Yeah, what's that?" I questioned, confused.

Their eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets, "WHAT!? I get you dumb boar, but Y/N-chan!? You've never celebrated Christmas?" Zenitsu yelled.

You shook you head.

"Well then, we'll just make sure you do this year!" Tanjiro smiled and the others nodded.

"Hai, we'll put up a tree first!" Shinobu put a finger up.

Everyone nodded except you and Inosuke.

TIMESKIP

A few minutes later, Shinobu had come in with a tree, a bit shorter than the roof of the Butterfly Estate.

She motioned the four of you to follow her as she put up the tree in a empty area of the estate.

"Now, there are some decorations in a room upstairs! Please go find them!" Shinobu smiled and you all nodded before heading upstairs.

After looking through a few doors you had finally opened one which contained a few boxes of decorations, there was tinsel and a few wooden ornaments" (idrk if they had decorations like that then lmao).

You all carried the boxes down, only to see multiple more trees up around the estate, you sweat-dropped 'That's a lot of trees'.

You all placed the boxes by the tree that was put up first, and started decorating the tree.

Tanjiro had to explain to you how to decorate a tree, since you had no clue, and got tangled in the tinsel.

Once you were done, you all looked proudly at the tree, happy with the outcome.

"Good job! Now do the rest of the trees!"

Everyone deflated, except you, who was excited to do more.

TIMESKIP

As you were taking a stroll through the area, a voice called out to you.

"KYAAH! Y/N-CHAN!" A pink-and-green haired girl called out, waving to you with a big smile on her face.

Once she finally made it to you she yelled again "I heard you've never celebrated Christmas before! Come to my estate, we're going to make some cookies!" she squealed and dragged you to her estate, blushing slightly.

Once you had made it there she dragged you inside and slammed the shoji doors closed, brining you to her kitchen.

"Okay, so to bake cookies, we need--"

TIMESKIP

Baking cookies turned out to be a mess, you had spilled the flour multiple times and mixed everything wrong.

And yet, the cookies came out to be the most beautiful cookies you've ever seen, not that you've seen many cookies.

Drool pooled in your mouth as the aroma of freshly baked cookies hit your nose, Mitsuri squealed "KYAH! These smell so good!" she cheered happily.

"Now, we need to make the icing!" she says and you nod.

TIMESKIP

After you had made the icing, Mitsuri showed you how to decorate it, and you were surprisingly good at it, like extremely good.

Mitsuri's eyes widened slightly "Wow Y/N-chan, those look so cute!" she squealed and hugged you tight.

TIMESKIP, CHRISTMAS DAY

You sat in bed again as you waited for everyone else to wake up, only a few minutes later Zenitsu popped out of beds, giggling something along the lines of "Hehe~ It's Christmas! I can give Nezuko-chan and Y/N-chan gifts for them to love me" he blushed.

Not long after, Tanjiro and Inosuke had woken up. When Inosuke woke up he was cackling about it being Christmas, and that he'd better be given the best gifts, since he was the king of the mountains after all.

You all walked down to the Christmas tree, your eyes shone slightly at the sight of many presents, over all, it looked very dazzling.

"HAHAH! GIFTS FOR THE GREAT INOSUKE-SAMA!" Inosuke cackled and tore open a random present.

"YOU DUMB BOAR! THAT'S MY PRESENT TO Y/N-CHAN! PUT IT DOWN!" Zenitsu screamed and Inosuke just cackled as Zenitsu chased him  around the whole estate trying to get the present back, in the end, Inosuke ate the present.

In the end, everyone had received a few gifts, one from each person, except maybe Inosuke for a few.

You had gotten Tanjiro a small box of lollies (candy) that were red and black.

You got Inosuke a fake crown you had seen at the markets.

For Zenitsu, you got him some ice. You said it was because his face was always red and hot. He cried tears of joy and told you how considerate you were.

And finally you had gotten Nezuko a little flower badge she could put on her kimono.

You felt over all happy with the gifts you had gotten everyone.

From Tanjiro, you got a cool headband with a snowflake design on it.

From Inosuke, you got an acorn.

Zenitsu got you a pretty sakura hair clip.

And Nezuko got you a box of her favourite lollies (Konpeitou).

You had thanked all of them repeatedly and happily accepted the gifts.

"So, Y/N. Did you have a good Christmas?" Tanjiro asked hopefully.

You thought for a moment, before giving them all a smile, making them turn bright red.

"Yes."
