OURS TO LOVE

"ill call you in a while Mr. Anderson ..... yes.... let's meet at my office to finalize our deal .... good day to you too "I end the call feeling good about this new brand deal . i couldn't go to the meeting scheduled today since I had to fly of to praslin to deposit some essential documents to my brother who apparently had forgotten them home. and I couldn't really hand them off to anyone else so here i am suffering once more at the hands of my annoyingly casual brother. where i am cold, heartless, and what people call an ass my brother is kind and a big flirt he could care less about anything . its just him and his comfortable luxurious life. not to mention his carefree playboy attitude. its kinda perfect, it balances out my dark exterior. i guess being twins was really worth something. 

" look man im sorry i forgot okay . i was in a hurry ." Stephan said hands up n surrender while i glared at him clearly annoyed 

"  ou were in a hurry for what exactly , fuck the flight attendant thats always fucking waiting to fuck you every chance given . Stephan if you were not my brother by all means i would've put you six feet under . do you have any idea how important these days are ?were expanding world wide for fuck sakes do you give one shit about all this ? .. oh wait lemme guess you do cuz it gives you the bitches to fuck "I spat putting enough venom in my words.

" calm down man, everything is under control now isn't it so what's the big deal? chill out .. drink " he again said with his carefree attitude.

"come on Steph you gotta grow up we're already 24 we might as well find our mate soon enough what do you think she will think when she finds out her mate is a man whore ?"

" aw come on don't say it like that it makes me look bad .. and besides you seriously think we'll find her? man come on its been years we were supposed to find her at 18 .  maybe she died or maybe the goddess never gave us a mate to begin with . since you know we're not exactly pure "

i couldn't bring myself to give him a comeback to that. he had a point. we weren't pure meaning were not exactly fit into one kind our mother was a wolf while our father was a warlock. so were hybrids an abomination. we were exiled from our packs when we first showed mixed traits. years passed and we lived in isolation till we were strong enough to build our own pack. i know Stephan has lost hope in finding our mate but I still have faith. the goddess won't be that cruel to not give us our mate. i had hope of finding her.  i had faith in her.

i saw Stephan leave after getting a call probably from one of his current flings. it's his way of coping with the pain considering he is the emotional one of us though he won't really admit it. 

i walk towards the railing of my current " room" gazing at the horizon and the setting sun. its unreal colors mixing in the blue sky. the vibrant hue of golden yellow contouring itself into the softest hue of vermilion and orange. the blues of the sky dancing in unison with the flames of the sun in its utmost glory. I reluctantly remove my gaze from the setting sun, moving to gaze at the people on the beach. people were happy some playing some swimming some on a picnic. it's then that something or someone totally unexpected came into my line of focus.

 covered completely from head to toe in thick cloths i see a young girl probably in her early twenties . gazing painfully at the dancing water .a silent tear running down he cheek . she gazes up at the sky  looking as if she was begging for answers for a path for .... freedom .  i realized the look she gave and the way her body spoke because i have once been in that place myself . i have had my demons to fight of and that look on that woman's face showed either she gave up and embraced them or she found a way out . 

i was entranced by her . no woman has ever captivated me before . she was something.. someone special  but i didn't know what until she locked eyes with me . just as how one would lock eyes with a stranger , she looked away back to the crashing waves . but in that brief moment i knew, i had found her . i had found my other half , my missing part of my soul, my happiness my salvation my anchor ,i sprinted off towards her . mid way i saw her get up dust herself . swipe her eyes and walk towards the crashing waves. fully clothes not an ounce of skin showing she walked in the water enough so that the water ran up to her waist . 

she dunked underneath the water and i waited for her to surface. but she did not surface. was she drowning herself? i waited for a few seconds till i was sure she wasn't going to surface i jumped in after her. i searched in the water but there was no sign of her. i looked around over and under the water but .. it was as if she just disappeared as if she never existed. 

i swim back to shore , i noticed there was a small bag probably belonging to her since it was right where she was sitting. i ran towards it, skidded to a stop, and opened the bag to check for anything useful. all i saw were thick clothes. a pair of long pants a full sleeves sweater a jacket and socks and shoes. nothing else. 

i was confused. first, i see my mate, but she didn't realize it was her mate only i did and I'm not that sure since it was only a eye contact for a few seconds i didn't get her scent, maybe i mistook her for my mate, but there was no way id take the risk of leaving her without knowing exactly if she was my soulmate. 

i waited till the sun had set and everyone left for their homes and hotels. i  waited till the moon shone bright and the stars glowed in their majestic glory. i always loved nature but I loved the glory of the setting sun and the twirling stars more than anything nature had to offer. they had helped me in a time of our exile. they had given me hope and strength to get me to where i am right now. 

i heard my phone vibrate which broke me from the haze of admiration. i looked at the screen and it was my brother.

"where the fuck are you man ? we had a meeting at 9 did you fuckin forget ?" he screamed 

" no i didnt ,infact its your meeting go deal with it i wont be always here to save your ass everytime you decide to become lazy now go out there and leave me the fuck alone " i said in a  monotone voice cutting his call and putting my phone on silent .

just when i got up and dusted myself. i saw a familiar face swimming towards the shore.  her gasp caught my attention as she ducked under the water covering her body from my sight. 

i looked at her big hazel eyes, eyes that reminded me of the autumn forest , of warm winter days, of my ... mother. i also noticed the emotions swirling in those  beautiful eyes , there were many emotions but the most prominent was ... fear . 

i took a step back  clearly she was scared and by the looks of it she wasnt clothed or not enough . she looked from my eyes towards the backpack that was in my hand . her eyes calculating . she started to turn making sure her body was hidden. but before she couldnt complete her turn i called out to her 

" I'm sorry I picked up your things without asking first, i thought you had drowned. id leave them here and turn so I can't see you dress. "

i saw her nod and i turned to leave the bag close to her . i heard the splash of water as she came out. i heard the rustling of clothes until it stopped. I turned back towards her. now facing a fully clothed, goddess. 

it was then that her scent hit me . the most intoxicating scent i have ever came in contact with. it was like roses and well-brewed wine with a dash of cinnamon and another edge to it i couldn't really name 

she nodded her head and started to walk away from me. That's when i was broken out of my thoughts and i grasped her hand, electricity running through me from that touch . she gasped and yanked her hand away. looking at me with pure fear and terror in her eyes. 

she took one step back and another and another and took off in full-blown sprint. if i wasn't a hybrid i would've lost her she was faster than my wolf but my magic had helped me catch up to her i grasped her arms and pulled her close to me . smashing her into my chest as we both came to a sudden halt . 

"please .." she spoke in her tiny voice . pain and fear clearly a bigger part of her emotion and she passed out .

hey thanks for picking up my book . this is just a story that came to me in while i couldnt sleep so i decided to actually write it down and hopefully finish it . i will try to update regularly . this is the raw version i dont have it written anywhere before so please over look the grmmar and spelling error thankyou .
