OURS TO LOVE

"our mate needs help " Arlo my wolf said clearly showing his distress. 

"we need to inform Stephan , now that we've found her he cant go sleeping with his flings "  i spat annoyed. 

i took my passed-out mate to our resort . i needed answers clearly but most impostantly i needed her safe . i needed her to be comfortable . i wanted to ask her soo many questions .. i wanted to show her things, i wanted to show her how much i yearned for her how much i love her . how much ill sacrifice just for her . 

i looked down at my unconscious mate . she was captivating. her facial features were no less than a goddess. she was small and frail bur i know she was far more powerful then what let the eye. i don't now if Stephan felt the bond  . we didnt really have a problem with sharing , weve shared women in the past . but it never got me the satisfaction so i had to drop out from whatever games he was playing . i am what you call a one woman man . and i finally found her . 

we reached the resort me and my brother were staying at . it wasnt far from the beach in fact you could see the beach just from our rooms . it was a beautiful place to say the least . 

i had mind linked Stephan to be present n the room when i reached . and i was glad he obliged . i mind linked him to open the door for me  since my hands were occupied . i heard the door click and open . "declan man where the fuck were yo- .... oh my god is that ?" he said shocked . 

"open the damn door steph "

"oh im sorry here come . lay her in your room . " he said shuffling the papers that were sprawled on my bed .  i lay my beautiful mate on my bed . she was so still . i wouldve thought she wasnt living if i had not noticed the small breaths she took and the rise and fall in her chest .  tucking her in i exited the door closing it behind me . making my way towards stephans room . 

his room was a mess . documents were everywhere . "what the fuck have ou lost again ? "i asked 

"nothing was just looking for something never mind that is she really my mate ?" he asked anxious .

"our mate brother " i clarified. 

"shes actually real .. huh ?" he looked at me as if wanting to confirm he wasnt dreaming 

"yes brother shes really real . very real , and very stunning too ." 

"her scent is ....nothing ive ever felt before . "

"i always told you not be a manwhore what will you do if she dicides to throw you out ?" i joked .

it only brought utter fear of rejection  to his face . he was fidgeting . nervous ...? stephan doesnt get nervous .. not for girls .. i guess a mate really does things to you . 

"why is she passed out ?

"i saw her first a few hours ago after you left to meet your new fling . i saw a girl crying staring longingly towards the ocean and then the sky . she was searching for answers . and crying . and the most weird part she decided to go for a swim fully clothed . like not a inch of her skin was showing . she took a dip and never surfaced . i went into the water but i couldn't find her . i thought she killed herself but i couldn't find her body either . o i waited . i waited till 9 . i was about to give up when i saw her . she was hiding herself in the body . she wasnt clothed . she asked for her bag which was in my hand it had cloths she wore them after i turned . and she then took off in a sprint . it was hard catching up to her without my magic i wouldn't have reached her in time . then she passed out after saying "please" she was shit scared . scared of me of the .. world of everything . " i explain

we were about to talk about this whole situation some more but we were cut off by whimpering . a whimpering we located from my room . both of us sprinted towards the rom . 

whats wrong love . "water , need water , please please need water please . " she was begging us for water . stephan got her a bottle but instead of drinking it she dunked it onher self . "more .... please sir .... please more ... wa..ter  she breathed harsher . i picked her up she was shivering . as soon as our body colided together i felt a surge of energy go through me while she took a harsh breath arching her body . she was strugling to breath . stephan started to run water in the bath tub .  i put her slowly in the filling tub . with the contact she calmed . she tried getting under the water but i kept her head up . she opened her eyes , tears streaming down her face "please.... p.please " she was begging . but i couldnt figure out what for . but it soon got to me . i let her head go free and she got submerged in the water . as soon as she got under the waters surface she breathed . 

"how the fuck is she breathing under water ?" stephan wisper yelled . 

"i have no idea . maybe shes a mer shifter?" i took a wild guess 

"you know she cant be a mermaid they have been extinct for mellenias now . who knows what will happen if people knew she existed . you do remember how the last mermaid was hunted by all clans . brother look at us we were exiled and targetted for wolf  hunting  just because we use magic as being wolves . our parents were slaughtered just because they loved each other and had us . what do you think they would do once they find out were mated to a fuckin mermaid ?"

"so what you want us to reject her ? our mate ? you want me to break my only love my only anchor you want me to destroy my future just because i dont want to be hunted . to fuck with that i will not give her up not you not for anything and id expect yu do the same "

he let out an exhausted sigh "im not saying we have to reject her all im saying is we have to protect her "

"you and me both brother , you and me both ."i say exhaustion lacing my words . 

i just hope things dont get messy .
