we saw her breathing in the water for about twenty minutes . after which she woke up . she sat up straight in the tub . fearfully scanning her surroundings . clearly in a fight or flight mode . i dont know what happened to her r what she has been throug but it clearly left a sharp impact on her . her beautiful eyes showing nothing but fear . i dont think she recognised us by our scents as her mates . she looks around frantically before her eyes snap to mine and lock . she looks at me for a good few second before her gaze jumps towards another pair of blues ....declans . looking at his eyes her shoulders slumped in relaxation . she let out a sigh of releif . 

"w-why am i h-here ?" she asked looking straight at declan . 

her voice ... it was silky smooth untangling all my anxious knots . it was like music to my ears . declan had stiffened next to me . i knew her voice had the same effect on him as much as it id on me . 

"you passed oout " is all he said . before she got up . water drained from her cloths . i didnt notice her wearing such heavy cloths in such climate . this was not a season to wear oversized sweaters and jeans . it was crazy hot outside . 

she stepped out of the tub  and stook right infront of declan " why am i here ?" she asked much more confident .  "like i said you passed out . " she looked into his eyes searching for a lie . before she could point t out he added "and because you are  my - our mate "  she gasped . looking straight in my eyes . her eyes looking at mine finding for a lie but she sighed when she found none . 

taking a step back . she looked everywhere but us before she composed herself "thakyou for the hospitality but i have to go now . i cant stay here any much longer . he will be looking for me . im sorry . " . he whose he ? a lover ? is she married ? she took a step towards us taking a hold of both or hands in her . a shiver racked my body and i didnt miss declan getting totally stiff in her hold . "you must forget me " she said with a sad smile . a surge of energy went through us " you must know i yearned for you both my beloveds my solaces but we must never come in contact again i can not do that to you so please my loves erase this wretched memory from your minds " tears streamed down her face . she was hurting and we couldnt do anything we were caught up in whatever she was doing to us . "my loves i will always remember you , i will always love you , but not in this life time not now forget " a surge of energy went through us . our wolves had gone silent . our magic out of proportion . 

she le our hands go and took off towards the door her eyes streaming with tears . we couldnt do anything . i couldt do anything . i was locked . i called out to xander my wolf but he wasnt responding my magic was shut off . what had she done to us ? . i looked up to declan his eyes were filled with tears . he too couldnt do anything . we looked at each other begging our wolves and our bodies to wake the fuck up but nothing happened . slowly everything become heavy . he memory , the girl . our ..... mate ? who was she ? why did we let her in ? was she one of my flings ? declan? what was he crying for ? 

after a few minutes which felt like years . my wolf returned . "where did you go man ?" i asked xander . he said nothing but just whimpered in pain . whats up with him ?

"he declan you okay ?" i saw to declan who was now on both his knees looking totally defeated .

"my wolf is mourning the loss of his ......     our .... my .... mate . she left .. she didnt want us .... she was crying ... "

"dude what mate ? we dont .................have ............."images flashed from a few seconds ago in my mind " hoy fuck .... what the fuck was that "

"she tried erasing our memories . mermaids can do that to people they want . and it wouldve worked too if we were just normal wolves . she wouldve gotten away .. if only we didnt have our warlocks magic she wouldve left us and wouldnt even know . "

"we have to find her man . i cant .. we cant ... i - we need her " tears were running down my eyes while declan jsut had red eyes . . it was heavy pouring outside . even the weather didnt make any sense now . what the fuck was going on ?
