"Seungcheol, this time what is the reason?" yubin looked at her boyfriend who ghosted her when they had plans of going out on a date. The matter which makes it worse is that it is her birthday, and the boy doesn't even remember. The girl thinks where she has gone wrong in the 4 years of their relationship and 10 years of friendship.
Is he still the same boy she used to like, or did he change?
"Yubin-ah," there he stood, silently looking at the girl who showed no emotion when he talked to her. "Let's end this relation." he broke the ice. Their relation was like butterflies at first, but it's a known fact, that those butterflies die soon, and so did their relation.
"I feel suffocated in this relation. I feel like we aren't what a normal couple is," he said, trying to ignore her eyes.
"To feel that you have to try to be one of those normal couples so-called 'boyfriend'. It just doesn't come naturally, you know? One has to try, and by one I mean both of the people as a person. Only I try and that too is a waste if you don't recognize my efforts, Choi Seungcheol."
Her words were like an arrow that sheared his chest.
She is not the girl he loved. How can she be her?
