~Ball Day~

Allo loves!~ I'm sorry if I posted it kind of late (I rushed to finish Chapter 6), I was really busy, what with all the homework and exercising and stuff. So, I'm sorry if it isn't really that good of a chapter... I just hope you guys will read more of my work! :)

Chapter 6                    ~Ball Day~

(Mio's POV)

My alarm woke me up at 6. I take about an hour to get ready so, might as well wake up early. I decided to get up early today because I wanted to check if all the preparations are ready, also to help prepare the banquet. I got up and went to get ready.

***         (Niall's POV)

I heard my alarm ringing, it was 7. I quickly got up and went to go shower. After I finished, I got dressed and went downstairs to the kitchen. When I entered the kitchen, I saw Mio cooking with the other chefs. Damn... She beat me to it. Well, I can't really cook anyways so I might as well supervise and be the taster instead.

Mio was so busy helping the chefs that, she didn't notice me come in. Not one of them noticed. So, I leaned against the door frame and watched them cook (well, I watched mostly Mio). The way she's so concentrated on cooking was just... wow.

She looks so professional... a very professional cook. Now I want to taste her cooking. I walked up behind her and tried to get a taste of one of the dished but, I felt her smack my hand.

"Ow! What was that for?" I whined. "You're not supposed to taste it yet" she grinned. "Yet" I emphasized. She giggled. "What are you doing up so early?", "I was thinking of helping the chefs cook the food but, then, you beat me to it", "You probably just wanted to taste all of the food. Actually, no, not taste but, eat all the food" she smirked. "Sure, sure", I mumbled.

"So, can I taste it now?", "Fine. Go ahead and taste each of the ten different dishes and tell me how it is", "Yes! I was getting pretty hungry", Mio rolled her eyes at me. I tasted each dish and all of it tasted delicious! Nothing to criticize about.

"How is it?" she asked worriedly. "Mmm... I don't know...", I joked. "Come on! This is important Niall", she whined. Oh how I just love teasing her. She makes those cute faces and I fall for her even harder. I know it sounds cheesy but... it's true.

I told her, "It tastes great", "Really?", she looked so excited. "Sure it does love", "Glad you like the chefs' and my cooking", "I don't like it, I love it. Especially when it's you who's cooking", "Awww, thanks Nialler!", "Anytime Princess". She smiled and started cooking more of the dished with the chefs.

I looked at my watch, it was 9 o'clock already? Wow... time goes by real fast... I decided to pop some popcorn and take them to the counter to eat and watch them cook. I just love watching Mio cook.

***               (Mio's POV)

All the dishes were made and done. We all ate lunch and checked if everything was ready. The ball will start at 7 and all the guests should all be here by 6. To pass time, we all went out to watch a movie, then by that time it was 4 o'clock.

We all went to get dressed for the ball in our rooms. I curled my hair, added light makeup, put on my pearl earrings and necklace, and wore my strapless white gown. I think I looked pretty nice for once. I heard a knock.

"Who is it?" I called out. "You ready Princess?" that Irish voice called out. "Yes! Hold on. Let me put on my heels", I said while grabbing my matching white high heels and slipping them on. I opened the door and said breathlessly, "Hi!" Niall stood there looking surprised.

"Umm... What? Is my makeup not right? Something out of place?" I patted my hair and started to fidget with my dress. "No... you look breathtaking. Really like a princess". I blushed. "Thank you". He smiled and took my hand. "Shall we?", I giggled, "We shall". And we walked downstairs to where the ball had just started...
