I woke up on my bed, "YO WASSUP Jess? Wow you look horrible!" my brother said.
Sorry forgot to introduce myself, my name's Jessica Jackson and I am a Space professor, I have dark green hair with green eyes, I normally wear a black shirt and light blue jeans with a green hat, green gloves, and coat, obviously my favorite color is green.
My brother on the other hand, his name is Leo Jackson, and HE is a paleontologist (A paleontologist is a person who studies fossils of dinosaurs and stuff.)
He had black hair that reached his neck and blue eyes filled with imagination, he had a matching blue t-shirt and light grey jeans; his favorite color is blue. "Thanks a lot genius. Good morning to you too!" I slipped out of my bed and cleaned myself up, when I got out, Leo shouted from downstairs, "Quickly eat your breakfast Jessy or we'll be late for work!"
"COMING!" I said, I ran downstairs and sat down on the chair, "Breakfast is served! Eggs with a hint of pepper!" Leo said while gently placing a plate with eggs on the table, he had a napkin hanging on his arm "Thanks waiter!" I said and started eating. After I was done, I ran and got my green coat out of the closet, "QUICKLY JESSICA! WE HAVE 5 MIN LEFT! WHY ARE YOU SO SLOW?" Leo was standing next to the door, his shoes and coat on with his hat too. "Where's your gloves?" I asked looking at his hands, "Lost 'em."
"Oh well, put your hands in your pockets so they don't get cold!" I said while putting on my coat, we left the house to work "BRRR! It's colder today!" I said rubbing my hands, "I hate walking to work!" Leo complained. We arrived at NASA's Space Center, "Good morning Professor Jessica and oh.... Professor Leo, it seems like the Jacksons are here sir." The woman said, she had blonde hair and stormy grey eyes, she wore a black coat with blue jeans, and she had freckles on her face. She looked behind her and suddenly a man was standing there holding a remote, he had brown hair with a matching small cut brown beard and a small mustache, he wore a white coat with black testing gloves and he wore black jeans by the way "BOSS!" I said
"WE HAVENT TESTED IT YET!" I continued
"I know"
"That was very dangerous!"
"I know"
"What if there was a cut wire or something!?"
"Jess, please calm down." He said, "Wait! Haven't tested what? What's so dangerous? WHAT CUT WIRE?!" Leo said, the gleam in the man's gaze grew brighter, "WELL THE TRANSPORTER MACHINE OF COURSE!" he said, "Forgot to ask, what's your name and if Jessy said boss than that means.... WHERE"S JACK THE OLD BOSS?" Leo asked
"Ah! He is retired."
"Why" Leo asked
"Because he is sick."
"Why?" Leo continued
"Because he got a disease. Any more questions?"
"Yes one more! What's your name and who's she?" he said gesturing to the woman who greeted us,
" My name is Marvin, and this is Katie, she is my assistant!" Marvin (The boss) said, " Oh ok...."
Marvin looked at me and said, " Let's get to work!" Marvin said, "What can we do sir?" Katie said jumping up and down, he thought for a second before answering "We'll be the first people to ever make an alien spaceship obviously! It's not like I just thought of that!" Marvin said.
I looked at Katie and she shrugged but I saw her blushing, she noticed me looking at her and looked away, Leo giggled "So um.... Marvin, how do you suppose we do this 'alien ship'?" Marvin had the gleam in his eyes again and said, "WE'LL HAVE AN ADVENTURE! SEEKING THE ANSWER TO FIND OUT HOW TO MAKE A SHIP! You in?"
Katie smiled and said, "I'M IN! BUT I CALL SHOT-GUN!" Leo shrugged, "I'm in! How hard can it be?", they all looked at me, "Oh no no no no no! I am not going! I can't, I am afraid of too many things!" I shivered remembering something...Bugs... YUCK!
"BUT YOU'RE A GENIUS JESS! You know so many things, even I don't know! PLEASE!!!!" Marvin said putting his hands together, "Anyway if you come there will be a partyyyy!"
"The party food is depending on me so, if you get me killed......I WILL be ticked off!" I said.
"Oh wow! And I thought this wasn't gonna be hard! WHAT WAS I THINKING!" Leo said looking at the tallest mountain in the universe Mount Everest, we just arrived there, and Marvin didn't want to ruin the surprise by telling us where we are going, we got out of the car,
"Why are we hear Marvin?" Katie said, it was the first time I ever heard her say his name without saying 'sir'.
"Well if we want to learn about spaceships, then why do you have to watch tv to know if you can go to the tallest mountain in the universe! Let's climb!" Leo's eyes widened,
"WE'RE CLIMBIMG THAT!?!" I yelled,
"Indeed you are correct as always Jess!", I felt like fainting, but I believe Marvin wouldn't approve and wake me up from my comfortable sleep. We were climbing for 8 and a half and my legs started to fail me! But I kept thinking... How do spaceships go to space? How do they launch out of the atmosphere? How do we breath in them when we are in space?
Leo noticed me slowing down and shouted to Marvin and Katie "I THINK WE SHOULD TAKE A BREAK!"
To which Marvin replied with "OK!", we placed our tents in a little cliff edge, securing each of the poles so our tents wouldn't fly away.
"Let's sleep for 5 hours, I set an alarm to wake us up at 2 AM." Marvin informed us as he took a seat Infront of the telescope and peered through it. "Goodnight!" then the lights shut and all I could hear was the cold breeze of the wind...
