~a few weeks later~
*rrrrrrrrriiiiinnnnngggg*
"Ok kids, class is over. Remember to read chapter 6 in your books and take notes. There might be a pop quiz. Hint hint." Mr. Krumitz said quickly.
I start walking out of the cramped classroom so I can finally head home. I'm walking down the hallways and I hear various sounds such as, chanting because our school's basketball team made it to the finals, laughing which is probably some group of friends bonding over something funny, and also music that others like to blare as loud as they can.
So pretty normal right? I'm making my way to the girls bathroom so I can freshen up.(and by freshen up I mean use the toilet and wash my hands.) as I walk in I hear crying and screaming. It's so loud and painful to hear, it makes me cringe. I'm almost too scared to turn the corner and what I see what's going on.
Once I do it's a horrible sight.I see Amber Riley, her groupies, and a girl I have never seen before this year with her makeup running down her cheeks, and her light brown hair cut in all different angles and lengths. To sadly add to that, I could see marker all over her skin that said, "I'm an ugly skank," over and over again. I felt so bad, but I didn't want Amber to catch me and make me her new rag doll to beat up.
"Come one girls, I think this piece of trash has had enough....for today." Amber says nonchalantly.
As I'm watching and listening to the situation, I almost forgot to hide. Luckily, they're still turned around so I quickly dash into a stall and lock my self in.I stay still and quiet until I swear I hear the door close. As I come out, the girl is still there, but her crying has become quieter now. I look at her and I still don't think I've seen her before.
"What's your name?" I ask cautiously.
"Claire. Claire Taison. I'm sure you've never seen me because I'm new just last week."
After that I leave in a hurry to end this awkward situation.
All I can think is, "what am I going to do about this? Who can I tell? Does Amber know that I know?"
