Y/N slowly opened his eyes. The world seemed to have become a blur. That was because his emotions were running wild, and his tears flowed like a waterfall. Although he was trying his best to hold it in, the tears would not stop flowing, as if his eyes were damaged.

While shakily panting, Y/N wiped the tears with his sleeve.

Just then, a man stretched out a large hand and stroked his head. Y/N raised his head to look at the man.

Behind the gentle smile on the man's face, one could faintly sense his sorrow and despair.

Father...

"I'm sorry, son."

Y/N could barely move, but even through his blurry vision, he could clearly see his father facing the entire army of the Northern Sect, and Heavenly Summit.

The betrayers.

"Haa..." Ozpin couldn't help but sigh at the current situation.

His emotions were a complete mess, and it was obvious from a simple look on his face. It was a wild day, and multiple surprises kept appearing one after another. At this point, he believed nothing could surprise him anymore.

What a chaotic day. A sudden monster appears in the emerald forest, and almost destroys all of it. His strength far surpasses mine, and if it wasn't for his arrogance and my technique, I doubt I would've been able to defeat him.

I've observed that fight before I have arrived, and I've suspected that the boy wasn't normal considering his fight in the beginning, and how well he was doing, but he surpassed all my expectations. Even I, or any experienced huntsman, for that matter, wouldn't be able to dodge that monster's rain of energy attacks, but that boy easily dodged all of that monster's attacks by a hair. Most importantly, that aura that has engulfed his blade, and the way it looked...

Just recalling it makes my hair stand on end. How could an ability like that possibly exist?

At least, it didn't seem like he had any ill intentions, otherwise, it would be a disaster. I've defeated that demon with pure luck, but I doubt that I could even graze the seams of the clothes of that young man. His dodging and movement were just astonishing. Despite being this powerful, I cannot sense a single trace of Aura coming from him, It's as if he doesn't have any. But that's impossible, not only all living beings have Aura, but I could clearly see something similar to it on his blade. Even that Demon had an aura on him, albeit it was much more powerful than I thought, it made me shudder.

That's just terrifying. I wonder if it wasn't for Glynda's telekinesis momentarily stopping that monster, and the young man heavily injuring him, would I have stood a chance? No, even if all of Beacon helped me, would all of us even stand a chance?

No way in hell. That monster seemed to have adaptation qualities, he already adapted to Glynda's telekinesis, and broke free of it easily. If I was a second late, that monster would've adapted to my magic attack, and destroyed all of us. And yet that young man damaged that monster more than I could ever hope for If I was alone.

Such a scary man is currently heavily wounded, lying motionlessly on a hospital bed.

If I want to kill him, now is undoubtedly the best time. It's probably also the only chance I will ever get to kill him. If that boy decided to go against us, it would be over. Killing him would be the right thing to do...but I can't bring myself to do it.

After all, he's the reason we killed that monster... It was his resolve and skill that saved us all from our doom.

Ozpin was lost in his thoughts, and eventually sighed. He glanced at the rocks besides Y/N.
