My shining light [Sundrop/moondrop X Reader]

Chapter three

After what had happened earlier the whole day had felt a bit tense. Sundrop was still muttering with himself as we went on about our days. Sometimes he would snap at a random toy or play structure, even staring at the lights as if temping to turn them off. It was honestly unnerving to watch.

I said goodbye to the last kid and watched as the large fake wooden doors close with a small 'click'. I was now alone with the robot. I sighed and tried to just bite my tongue and start to clean up any arts and crafts stuff first. However all I could feel was his eyes on the back of my head. I tried to ignore it and think of ANYTHING else, that was until I heard him growl and mutter loudly..

"That's it. She can't keep ignoring us. I'm turning the lights OFF." Sundrop said before walking over to the lights once more. I took this time to run over to the pillow fort the kids had made and hide inside. Getting under the many piles of pillows and blankets so that he couldn't see me. I could hear his footsteps walking around as he went to look for me.

"Come out my little star..."
Moondrop growled with the hint of anger laced in his voice. He was so close to me and then.. the footsteps stopped. It was the most heart sinking feeling I had ever experienced as I covered my mouth and closed my eyes. Waiting, listening for even a pin drop. That was until I felt two metal hands grab my wrists and pin them above my head.

"We don't like it when you hide from us starlight~" he growled before his face got closer, my eyes stayed shut and turned to the side. My right cheek feeling the cold floor under me as moondrop keeps me pinned to the floor.

I felt his hand suddenly grab my thighs and I gasp. Opening my eyes to see what he was doing, he was looking at me. I stared back into his eyes before he just...let go?

He seemed to have relaxed a little at he stared into my eyes before he back a 'tch' sound "you know...it's not really nice to ignore someone after such moments together." Moondrop explained as I slowly allowed myself to sit upright from my older position. My face started to grow red and I broke eye contact. "I-I'm sorry I didn't know what came over me" I tried to explain but was shushed by him placing his finger on my eyes.

"Now now. Just tell me one thing....

Do you this you can handle it?"
