A rainy day in the city of Seoul; thick black clouds with the scent of the rain spreading throughout, wet weather varied from drizzle to a heavy downpour.
Though Taehyung wanted to stay at home and cozy up in his thick blankets, he had a job to do. So he groaned as he got out of the edge of the bed, careful about the male who slept comfortably on the other end.
Jungkook was Taehyung's husband, and though they did not hate each other, they were not to a point where they could talk comfortably.
They have been married for only two weeks and are still getting to know each other. Due to their rushed marriage, they hadn't got any time to see each other.
Taehyung was now in the kitchen, watering the plants Jungkook set up as he waited for the coffee to brew.
Once he got done, he pulled two plain white cups out of the rack and poured the brown liquid into them. Mixing some sugar cubes in, he kept one cup in the kitchen while taking the other to their room.
He kept the cup on the bedside table and checked the time. At eight o'clock, it was almost time till Jungkook woke up.
He returned to the kitchen and sat on the high chair, sipping on his coffee while flipping through the daily newspaper.

After a while, a sleepy Jungkook with an empty coffee cup walked into the kitchen. Jungkook lazily stretched his limbs with a loud sigh after washing the cup.
"Good morning, Taehyung." he greeted with a small smile.
"Morning," Taehyung greeted back with a small smile, looking up from his newspaper.
Jungkook then turned to pull out a packet of bread and some eggs from the refrigerator. Pushing the slices of bread into the toaster, he turned to the stove and turned on the pan, spraying some oil on it. Being satisfied with the heat, he cracked open the eggs into it.
Soon enough, two plates of egg and toast got placed on the kitchen counter. They both ate their breakfast without any further exchange of words.
Taehyung let out a small "Thank you for the food." while getting up from the seat and then washing his dishes.
Jungkook did the same after some time. He took his time with his breakfast because he had to reach his workplace only by ten o'clock, while Taehyung had to get to it by a quarter past nine.

"I'm leaving for work, Jungkook," Taehyung said, closing the door after receiving a hum from his husband.
Jungkook entered the shower after closing the front door. The sound of the older's car drifting away reached his ears. He turned it on and stood under the warm water, his muscles feeling refreshed.
After drying his hair, he wore his outfit for the day; a plain navy blue shirt with the sleeve folded till his elbows and soft black pants.
He grabbed the keys and his black backpack on his way out and locked the door from outside. Slinging it on his shoulder, he got into his car and went off to work.
And this concludes on how mornings look for Kim Taehyung and Kim Jungkook.

a/n: first chapter!! i'm very excited for this book for some reason. like it's gonna be more on the modern side - (almost all my books are on the vintage side) -with a relationship that needs some shaping; i love the vibe.
