I stoodin front of my full length mirror and once again fixed my hair and checked my make up. I don't know why but I always feel so self-concious when I go out. I feel like everyones looking at me and comparing me to themselves but then drawing the conclusion that they are way prettier and better than me. I sighed and sat on my bed to pull on my tartan converses before checking my outfit of black skinnies and a mayday parade band t-shirt again. I looked fine. relaxed and not too try hard. just comfortable.

I grabbbed my phone and walked down stairs. my brother was waiting for me before nervously handing me the keys to his car. I just got my learners permit and after much persuading, finally allowed me to drive us to the mystic grill. I grinned at him before skipping over to the drivers side before narrowing my eyes at him when I saw his tentatively getting in to the passangers side. I sighed but put the keys in the ignition and driving us accident-free to the grill.

I spotted Elena, Bonnie, Caroline, Stefan and Matt the minute I stepped foot in the grill and walked over them, sliding into the booth besides Bonnie who gave me a smile and a side hug. tyler followed quickly followed sitting next to me.

we didnt even get to say hello to everyone before Jeremy came rushing over to us.

" has anyone seen Vicki I cant find her"

" why dont you tell us? your her stalker" snapped my brother unkindly.

Jeremy just glared at him before turning to the rest of us, but my brother wasnt finished egging him on

" sorry pill-pusher shes not here"

Elena turned sharply round to tyler on hearing this

"whats with the pill-pusher"

tyler just shrugged " ask him"

Elena turned to jeremy "are you dealing?"

jeremy rolled his eyes at her " I dont have time for this"

Elenas eyes widened slightly " oh yes we d-"

but Matt cut her off "Can you all just shut up and help me find my sister!"

everyone nodded quickly and split up to search for Vicki.

" I'll check the fountain" said Matt

"I'll go with you" but Elena cut off jeremy

" oh no you don't your coming wih me" and with that she grabbed his wrist and dragged jim out the door.

that just left Bonnie, Caroline and I

Caroline turned to us "ever notice how druggies are the biggest attention-whores"

Bonnie and I just laughed and dragged Caroline outside to find Vicki.

Later that night, me caroline and bonnie were sitting around a table waiting for Caroline to sober up when Stefan walked towards us. I immediately stiffened and looked away from him. a sudden fear running down my spine.

"Hey, have you seen Elena?" he asked her

we all looked at each other and shook our heads

" no sorry" stefan went to walk away but bonnie continued " but im going to give you Elenas mobile number and e-mail address. shes really big on texting and you can tell her I said that" she handed Stefan the napkin with the information on it but as stefans hand touched hers her pupils shruck then went blank and she sat there staring in horror at stefan.

Stefan waved his hand infront of her face "Bonnie?"

she suddenly snapped back to reality and blinked "what happened to you she asked stefan in shock. she seemed to realise what she asked and quickly apologised " oh my gosh! thats so rude. excuse me." and she quickly got up and hurried away.

" yeah she kinda wigs out... its like her "thing"" laughed Caroline awkwardly.

but I knew Bonnie had felt the same thing I had felt.
