Virgil is the most popular boy in the school and, even, the whole city. He quickly rose in popularity upon joining the school due to his looks, personality and the fact that his mother was a famous musician. He was, also, the President of the original Literature Club, founding it when he was 16. Due to tragic events taking place, he was forced to disband the club and, for a while, took part in no extra-curricular activities. Instead, prioritising the happiness and health of his twin sister, Sayori, as their parents were killed in a car accident. This left them with no blood-related family at all except for each other. He remained like this until Monika approached him with an idea for a Club. Virgil decided to accept the offer and the Literature Club was, soon, reformed. Although acquiring new priorities, he still decided to put Sayori at the top of the list.
