" Chris ! " Amara said banging on my door . I smacked my lips and turned over , burying my head in the pillow .

I hate the fact that they stay here . She's getting on my fucking nerves . Going on and on about how great Tiffany is and that we'll be good together .

I need to get out of here . ASAP .

Eventually the banging stopped , making me sigh in relief .

" Yo Chris , you up cuz ? " Cairo's voice came out of nowhere , pissing me off . What the fuck do they want ?

" Yeah wassup ? " I said and he just walked in the door like I said come in .

" I just wanted to let you know that they're planning a dinner for you tonight . I'm going to get my haircut in 45 minutes if you wanna go with me and we can go get something to wear too . " he said looking hopeful .

I nodded my head , smiling . " Yeah most def cuz . Let me get ready then . " I dapped him up and he left out but Amara came busting in right after .

" Chris . I just wanna say that Tiffany said she's gonna be at the dinner for sure so I really want you to get to know her please . I promise you'll love her . Pretty pleaseee ? "

" Fine . Fine . I'll get to know her . " I said just to appease her . " Is Mahogany coming too ? "

" Why ? " she said squinting her eyes at me . " Did that bitch say something to you ? Cause I'll beat her ass for you . " she said making me chuckle .

" No , she didn't do anything . We actually have a lot in common and I just wanted to see her again . She was cool peoples . " I said and she huffed like it was really a big deal .

I don't know really know what shorty about but I'mma keep my eye on her .

" Alright fine , I'll invite Ms know it all . " she said storming out of the room . I shook my head and proceeded to get ready .

I can't wait for tonight .

After I got ready , I went to find Cairo , seeing he was in the kitchen with my granny . I ran up to her , hugging her tight . I didn't get a chance to see her yesterday .

" Oh myyy , look at youuu . You look just like your grandfather . The both of you . I can't take it . " she said kissing all over my face .

I just cheesed at her and stuck my finger up at Cairo who was pouting at the back of my grannies head .

" I missed you so much granny . I wish I didn't have to leave again . " I said putting my forehead on her shoulder .

" We all do man . " Cairo said coming around to join the hug .

We stood there for a moment and then I just had to ruin the moment .

" I'm still her favorite . " Cairo smacked his lips then smacked me upside the head . I reached around my granny and smacked him hard as fuck on the back of his neck .

" Ouch man ! " he yelled out making me crack up .

" You boys better stop it . Y'all know I don't do that play fighting in my house . " she said pushing both of us away from us . I just leaned in and kissed her on the cheek and she smiled at me .
