stella hears the second to last song in the wrecks set begin to play so she heads out of her dressing room and to the area to the left of the stage where she will be entering when it's her time to go on.
"hey stella was just about to go to your dressing room to see how're you're feeling" says ross as stella enters the room where rocky, ross, rydel, and riker are all hanging out.
"i-i im fine" she says hesitantly looking down at her shoes. she looks up to see ross furrowing his eyebrows at her she lets out a sigh and says, "okay maybe not fine but i'm okay just nervous i keep repeating to myself what you said yesterday, i know i can do it it's just whether or not i will completely fail at it or not".
"cmon we asked you on this tour for a reason, we believe in you, i believe in you you're gonna absolutely kill it and i will be cheering you on the entire time if you ever get too nervous just look off to the side and i'll be there singing along" ross says placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. they both pause for a moment looking into each other's eyes, stella's nerves floating away to butterflies in her stomachs.
the moment is broken when the wrecks come running off stage, everyone in the room turns to them and begins clapping and cheering.
stella's nerves that were once gone were back again as she realizes she has about 5 minutes until it's her time to go on stage.
ross turns back to stella saying, "remember what we've talked about, just be in the moment this is your time and you're gonna rock it"
even though it was the simplest of words it somehow eased her nerves just enough.
