Consent to Explore

Two days had passed since Zyggy had talked about wanting to take May somewhere. The bruise on her side was gone, and to her surprise, she followed through with Zyggy's request to stock her kitchen with proper food. May didn't fully understand why she obeyed, but she did, and now she was feeling better. Her body seemed to hold more energy. She was not starting to crash by lunchtime or even an hour before the end of her shift. Today was her lunch shift, and she hoped to see Zyggy. He had said he wanted to take her somewhere. For the last two days, all she could think about was him. It freaked her out a little since she had never had a crush on anyone before. What was normal, and what was borderline stalker? She had no clue, and it scared her when her mind could only think about one person and nothing else. "May," Jaxson called, trying to get her attention. May grumbled. She was tired of Jaxson being pushy ever since he saw her with Zyggy. He had been trying to find out who he was and what kind of relationship they had. He was starting to freak her out. She tried to tell Jaxson to back off and leave her alone about it. Nothing seemed to get through to him. Ignoring his shouting, May entered the locker room to change out of her uniform and into her street clothes. "May, that guy from two days ago is standing outside," Nor said, coming into the changing room. May was pretty sure her heart skipped a beat at hearing that Zyggy had actually remembered what he had told her. "Thank you for telling me," she said, feeling excited to see him again. Nor winked at her " he is a cutie. You managed to find a good one, May," she said, giving her encouragement. May fiddled with her shirt "Umm. Nor I might have a strange question, but what do I do if I don't know what I want someone to do with me" she asked, turning bright red from embarrassment. Nor stared at her for a moment before she closed her locker " Play it by ear. I mean, you can always give him hints at what you are okay with. Like, if he goes to kiss you, let him show him you are welcoming to that kind of touch." May could not hold eye contact with Nor she felt odd having to ask a coworker how dating or flirting worked. " So I should give him consent to try things and find what I don't like? I have never dated before, and I have no clue how any of this works," she said, feeling flustered. Nor chuckled " Honey, if you give him consent to just explore and learn right alongside you, it would mean more to him than I think you will know. He can teach you things you probably didn't even know you would like. Don't be scared to tell him when you don't like something though, you can't go without any limits, so find something that you know for a fact you don't like and go from there as a hard limit," she explained. May lifted her head enough to see Nors face "thanks, sorry if that was awkward," she said. Nor guided May to the door. "ask me anything, and I will answer. You are my friend May, and I happen to like seeing you happy. You are happy when he is around. I saw the change in you the last two days, and I like it," she said, pushing her out the door. "Now go see him," she said, motioning for her to run along. May waved goodbye to Nor before she made her way around the building to see Zyggy once more leaned up against the white fence. Taking a deep breath to steady her rapidly beating heart, she moved towards him. "Good afternoon," she said. Zyggy jumped. He had not even heard anyone walk up near him. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, he looked to see May. She looked a lot healthier since the last time he had seen her, which was only two days ago. Matching her smile, Zyggy scooped her up into a big hug. He liked the way it felt. She fit perfectly in his arms, two days and he had missed her. "How is your side, are you all healed up," Zyggy asked, releasing her from his hold. May rocked on her heels for a moment "all healed, I even stocked my kitchen with proper food and started eating correctly," she said, turning bright red. Why on earth did she tell him that? She was going to freak him out. "I am glad to hear that. You look lovely," Zyggy said, taking her hand in his to lead her off to where he wanted to take her. "Since your healed up, we can go on our adventure. I did say I was going to take you somewhere," he said. They walked for several good blocks until they came to the edge of the forest where Zyggy had first found May. At least this time, she was not injured or near death's door. May didn't question where Zyggy was taking her. She just let him lead her. She was enjoying the unknown. Entering the forest, Zyggy led her to a babbling brook that zigzagged its way through here. Enchanted by the area she had been brought, she overlooked the cute little sitting area until she looked down near a large tree to see a blanket and a basket. "Surprise," Zyggys said, holding out his hand to the setup. May could not help but smile. It was sweet and not what she would have expected. "I love it, cute and perfect," she said, kissing him on the cheek. Zyggy was surprised by her actions to the point he was speechless. He wanted to make her smile which he did, yet she was making him smile in return. She didn't take without giving back in some fashion. Snapping out of his daze, he led May over to the blanket sitting down. They enjoyed the scenery before he felt the urge to kiss her suddenly take hold. She had kissed him. It was a hint of sorts. Was it okay for him to do it back? "I have it from here," Dz said, switching with Zyggy. Before Dz could say anything, May looked at him and began talking. " I am not great with knowing what I like or don't, so I figured it was best to just give consent to explore if I find something I don't, I will use the safe word the taps on your arm," she said. Dz was a little lost for words. She was giving him consent to test boundaries and learn with her. That is a lot of trust to give out, yet it was an honor that she was giving it to him. She knew very little and was willing to explore with him. "I think I can work with that," he said, pulling her into his lap. Testing the waters, he placed gentle kisses on her neck and just above her breasts. Sliding off her jacket, he made it easier for him to have access to her chest if he wanted it. Her response to him was exciting. He worked his way up to her mouth to kiss her, starting off soft then nipping at her lip to see her reaction. He knew marking was bad since she had been abused in the past. "Is what I am doing okay? I need a yes or no," Dz questioned, stopping before he went any further. "Yes," She answered. "Good Girl," he said, laying her back on the blanket to hear her gasp. It was not a bad gasp but one of shock and excitement. Her responses had him growl in her ear, softly bitting just enough to have the feeling but not enough to hurt her. He could feel her shiver under his touch.
