Team RWBY and (J)NPR were sitting in the cafeteria trying to eat their breakfast. To be honest, none of them felt like eating, but knew that they couldn't become huntsmen and huntresses without a good, healthy diet. During their almost failed attempt at eating, Blake was feeling like something was seriously wrong like lots of her beloved, "misguided" White Fang has ended up on the wrong side of things. (Note: We can all agree that Blake's annoying need to say that the White Fang is misguided really gets on our nerves).

"Blake? Is everything okay?" Ruby asked. Blake was about to answer her until the an emergency news bulletin started to flash on everyone's scrolls. No one hesitated to reach towards their scrolls and click on it...which for some turned out to be a costly mistake.

I interrupt whatever you're doing to give you this upsetting news about the recent attack on the White Fang.

Ruby quickly looked towards Blake before turning her attention back to the news report. It was pointless anyway to stop her from worrying about the White Fang especially since she hardly saw the bigger picture if she ever got wind of what activities the White Fang has planned.

Besides knowing Blake...she was going to give a speech about how misguided they are. However, the news was the most important priority than whatever Blake was going to do.

According to the responding officers, they had received an urgent call from the manager of the pier. When they arrived...they were horrified to find the dismembered remains of several White Fang. Many of which were found to have been burned, cut into pieces and much more. No details have come in on who is responsible for this heinous act, but the public has been warned to stay indoors and keep a keen eye on suspicious activity. This is Lisa Lavender signing out.

At the end of the announcement, the cafeteria was silent. No one had any words to say about what they just heard and felt their blood run cold. They had never heard of someone doing something like that to other people, but it also gave way to mixed feelings.

One side felt like it was well deserved since the White Fang has taken several lives in the name of equality. While the other side felt like who ever did this needed to be brought to Justice. However, they were all cut off from their thoughts when the headmaster's voice rang out in the entire school.

Due to this upsetting news, classes have been canceled until further notice. At this time, teams are still allowed to take missions, but they must be careful not to be out at night since we still don't know who commented this crime.

After that, the cafeteria was quick to filter out with their food long forgotten still on the tables. Team RWBY and (J)NPR left together and gathered together in one of their dorm rooms. Meanwhile....

Ozpin was staring at his desk with a frown on his face. This was upsetting news and will surely lead to the rise of Grimm in the long run. Sighing...he wondered when he will get his upcoming call from Ironwood. A man who will probably try to come in with a large number of his fleet which would cause more harm then good.

"Sigh...Things are really going downhill since Mr. Arc disappeared." He commented softly. He hated how he ultimately failed him and allowed the students to treat him like a pariah. Ozpin shouldn't stopped it and maybe...certain events would've greatly differed. However....

He was cut off from his thoughts when his scroll rang and he noticed the name shining on it. He had to hold back a groan...Ironwood always called at the slightest hint of trouble. Only this time...

He may have caused these attacks to escalate before the second one even started. Oh well, it's not like they were getting attacked by some unknown magical force that he didn't know about...Right?

Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
