Prologue

Lisa POV

I don't want to ruin my wonderful day today but I think I don't have choice, this kitten making my life somewhat exciting and trouble.

I shook my head, put my hand inside my pocket and held the girl wrist because she's a about to hit her cheap bag to my cute mandu.

"Not too fast baby" I said and she glared at me. I look down and saw my kitten, sitting on the ground, lowering her head, and caressing her knees that have bruises.

She keep wiggling her arms but I tightly hold it that made her kneel down while wincing in pain.

"You okay my mandu?" I ask her and she tilted her head, when our eyes met she starts to cry. Tsk! Such a baby that's why people taking easy on her.

"Lili, look I have bruises in my knees" She reported and pointed her knees that had a small bruises and Its bleeding a little.

"I saw, what you want me to do?" I ask her while I'm still holding the girl wrist tightly.

"Slap her face two times" She said and raise her two fingers. I nod and wipe her tears using my free hand. I slightly twist the girl hand that made her tap the ground before I landed my palm to her cheeks two times hardly which cause a red tint show.

"Is that okay?" I ask and she nod. I push the girl and she sat on the ground. I hold jennie both shoulders and guide her to stand.

"Next time, don't let them hurt you okay?" I fix her skirt and get her bag.

"Why? Are you leaving? Are you going somewhere? Don't leave me lili no one will protect me here" She cling her hand on my arm and looking at me with worried face.

I just ask her not to let them hurt her but she's overreacting again. I won't leave her because I love her even if she's so damn oblivious.

Jennie is my friend since I'm inside my mother womb and we always together, she sometimes sleepover in my room and call me in the middle of the night to come over in their house because she can't sleep. Through the years, I find out that my feelings and treatment to her is no longer friend or nini but someone I love and build a future with. She know my secret, vice versa.

"I just telling you nini not to let them hurt you, not I'm leaving you" I said and roll my eyes. I learned this to her, she always roll her eyes on me so I copied it.

"You almost copy my rolling eyes lili but I'm still the original and great" She said and giggles. "You know that I'm weak lili right? mommy tell you that and she also told you to always protect me because you're strong" She added.

Jennie is weak since birth, just a little move she got tired but hard headed one. She keep on eating that's why she gained a lot of weight that cause the students here to bully her and she can't fight back because she have this heavy weight, small arms, legs, and add her height.

"I know but I can't be always here for you so you need to learn to fight back" I said. She pouted and slowly raise her two arms that made me smile.

"No, I won't learn to fight back because I know you will always be here with me" She said and put down her arms and smile at me. I pinch her mandu cheeks and turn my back.

I put her bag in front, bend down to her level, and patted my back.

"Come and ride my mandu" I said and she don't hesitate to ride on my back and I think my bone crack and separate for awhile. I slowly move and hold her legs to support her body before walking towards the clinic to check her bruises.

"Lili, I'm hungry" She said after the nurse cure her bruises. She still riding on my back while we're heading to our room. We're classmate. I look at the stairs and heaved a deep sigh then fix her position.

"Lili! I'm hungry!" She firmly said again. but I ignored her until we arrive in our room. The professor stop on discussing when he notice our presence. I bow and didn't wait for his permission and went to nini seat because I'm fucking tired.

"Where are you going Ms. Manoban?" The professor said when he saw me going outside.

"Buy a food for awhile professor" I said and continue my way towards the canteen and buy snacks for nini. I went back inside the room and put what I bought in her table and smile form in her lips.

"Thanks lili" She cheerfully said. I patted her head and seat beside her and raise a thumbs up for the professor to continue his discussion because he stop when I come inside.

"You look idiot monkey" I glared at her and she also do the same. We battle in stare but I failed that made her flick my forehead.

"Ouch! That hurts"

"You lose so you deserve it" She said and smirk. I swear this chipmunk, she is no help at all. I was about to smack her head when the professor call my name.

"Yes professor" I said and stood up confidently even though I don't have any idea what his going to do or ask.

"Can you summary what I discussed Ms. Manoban?" He said. I gulp and feel someone pinch my butt cheeks and saw nini sneakily showing her notes. I clear my throat and look at him again.

"You professor discussed about the history of an old man business and his experience then relate it to your discussion in the board" I said and point the written words in the board because I'm tired to recite it. I heard a loud sigh and saw nini shaking her head.

"What?" I mouthed but she continue shaking her head. The professor clear his throat that cause me to look at him again.

"Recite the 5 main basic business objectives" He said. I glance at jennie again because she pinch my butt cheeks for the second time.

"This will be the last professor okay? Your over..... Quality, Speed, dependability, flexibility and cost" I said and wiggle my brows before sitting down. I saw him hissed before calling another student name.

"Wow! I didn't know that you listen monkey"

"Of course...not I have my own source here" I said and look at jennie who's silently eating her foods while listening to her name to be call but the professor skip her.

"Ms. Park" The professor call. Rosie stood up and kick my feet and I just give her a thumbs up.

"What is business in your own words?" She glance at me and mouthed help and I write some words that is unreadable that made her brows furrowed. She hisses and abruptly get the paper in my hand and read it loudly.

"Make your own words" She said and everyone laugh. She crumpled the paper and throw it to my face and glared at me.

After the class, we headed in the parking lot and jennie is riding on my back again. I told her to walk but she refused so now I'm sweating a lot and have a back pain when I stop in front of my car. I open the passenger seat and saw her comfortable so I ran in the driver seat to drive.
