Chapter 8

Yesterday, she took the ride with mino and didn't even say anything to me that she would go home first. So, I went home alone, walking in the bus stop without any energy but thankfully rosie and jisoo unnie show up and offer me a ride home which I accepted with no second thought.

Now, I'm riding my bike towards the Kim residence. I enter the gate and park in front of the entrance, I'm about to run to press the doorbell but a loud horn stop me.

Mino car stop in front of me and he open his door like those leading man in romantic movie fetching her girl.

"Hi Manoban!" He greeted and wave his hand but before he can approach me the door open and nini came out beautiful as ever.

"Nini, Good morning!" I greeted and about to get her bag but she passed by me. What's going on? She never act this way to me? I held her wrist and look at her with questioning look.

"My bike is flat lili and you bring yours How can we go together?"

"Oh! Wait here! I'll get my car!" I said. I didn't waste any moment and pedal my way back home but I'm already in the gateway when mino car horn and wave his hand, telling me that jennie is already in her passenger seat and I'll go school alone. Fuck him.

My head automatically lower down and my day become gloomy. I kick the tire bike and scream in annoyance. That was the first time she go school without me and the first time she went home without me.

I spend hour sitting at the gateway where gelo the old gate guard join me so I won't feel alone according to him.

"You know what master I admire your friendship with Ms. Kim" He said. I look at him blankly but his not looking in my direction instead he stare the peaceful view in front of us. Road and tree.

"Why?"

"Its genuine and pure...but I admire more Ms. Kim"

"Why?"

"Its more genuine and pure" He said and this time his looking at me.

"Yeah" I simply said. We just only have friendship but I want more than that.

"Break and risk the old habits master it will only confuse things" He said and smile on me. He have more something to say but his partner call him and he immediately stood up and run back in his post.

I look at his fading figure and look down thinking hard of his words.

Break and risk the old habits Because it only confuse things? What old habits? Why it confuse thing?

An hour of thinking rosie words pop up in my mind that quickly send millions of confidence in my system. I stood up and pick up my bike to go to school.

Formulate words for the actions to be label accordingly. So I need to break and risk our friendship to not confuse things. Got it!!!!

But I'm scared. What if...argh! I don't care anymore. Now or never!

When I reach the school gate I saw a familiar back, standing near the guard house and she seems looking for someone. I passed by her but stop and look back.

"Are you waiting for me?" I smile but her brows furrowed. I put the stand on the ground and approach her without breaking my smile.

Now or never!

I stop in front of her and my smile grow more wider.

"Jennie" The first time I speak her name in casual way. I took her hand and heave a deep breathe.

"Can I court you?" Finally. Her eyes grow big and mouth hang open. I want to chuckle in her priceless reaction but its not the perfect time to do it because she might think I'm just joking.
