Jungkook's P.O.V

A series of thoughts ran through my mind as I stared at the empty glass of water in my hand. It has been years since I last saw her, since I last held her in my arms. Everytime I close my eyes, her fading figure invades my vision. An ache courses through my heart when I saw her frame in front of me. She'll be here soon though, I'll make sure she's back in my arms, just like before. I'm dragged back to reality when I feel my phone buzz beside me.

Unknown: "I hope you're prepared for what's coming your way, tonight. I've sent all the details about the event she's going to. She's expecting you there".

Jungkook: "I'm not ready to face her, yet".

Unknown: "So you're going to wait another year to take her? Man up, Jeon. If you don't take her tonight, you'll lose her forever. Eat that fucking guilt up and claim what's yours".

Jungkook: "I hope you know who you're talking to--"

Unknown: "Of course, I do. A coward who's drowning himself in guilt. It's your fucking time, they're attending the mafia ball after 5 fucking years. If you waste this opportunity--"

Jungkook: "I'm coming".

Unknown: "R-really"?

Jungkook: "Yeah. It's time I take back what's mine".

Unknown: "I'm expecting you there".
A sigh escaped my lips as the line went dead. A lot has changed in the last 12 years, but it was time to bring her back to me.

Yeonjun: "Wassup, grumpy bunny"?
Yeonjun's face popped in front of me and I rolled my eyes.

Jungkook: "Shut up, jun".

Yeonjun: "You miss her".

Jungkook: "shut the fuck up".

Yeonjun: "Alright, what's the deal for tonight? I heard they're going to be present for the ball".

Jungkook: "We're going with double security, shoot as soon as you see any suspicious movements. I don't care whatever happens, tonight, I want her with me".

Yeonjun nodded at my words and made his way out of the room while I went inside my washroom and looked in the mirror. I got an adrenaline rush at the thought of having her back with me, again. If anything goes wrong tonight, everyone's life will be at the point of my gun. They started the war and I'll fucking end it. It's time for Chester to pay for his sins. I smirked at the thought of him on his knees, begging her to forgive his actions, but she'll have no fucking mercy on him.

My ears perked up at his information and I looked at him with narrow eyes.

Y/n: "W-who killed my family"?

Chester: "The Jeon family".

Y/n "Jeon? Who are they and why'd they kill my family"?

Chester: "Because they broke the agreement".

Y/n: "W-what agreement"?

Chester: "The agreement of you marrying his son Jeon Jungkook".
