I was currently walking behind papa as we walked through the crowds of Konoha. I had grabbed a hold of his clothes so I wouldn't get lost. He chuckled at me and ruffled my hair.

"Sota?" I looked up from the ground and blinked at him. He looked over his shoulder and held out his right hand. My eyes widened.

"We're in a safe place. Plus, it would be a big surprise for everyone." I slowly let go if his clothes and grabbed onto his hand. He squeezed it as I looked around fearfully.

"Let's go see the Hokage." I swallowed and nodded. He sighed and led me towards a large red building in the center of the village.

I could feel people staring at us as we walked and I instinctively held papa's hand tighter. He squeezed back and rubbed his thumb over my small hand, trying to be supportive.

Villages scared me. Kinda sad since I was considered a Jounin, but when you have villages after you because you say something to them from a deceased loved one, it sets them off. Not to mention killing thugs that were someone's husband or child with your Kekkei Genkai. To top it all off, I'm just a 12 year old.

My Kekkei Genkai allows me to see dead people. Not just see, but talk to and touch. It's not warm like a living persons touch, but cold. Like dead cold. They only smell like Cherry blossoms.

As for the thugs...well...it's the usual behavior for them. Money and sexual stuff. Their either drunk, on drugs or just plain stupid. I always get mixed up with them when papa follows after a pretty lady. I don't mean to..but they always end up dead. Papa always finds me by asking Fukasaku for help. How they find me is above my knowledge, but I'm glad he does. Every time that happens, I'm always covered in blood so he helps me get it off.

My Kekkei Genkai is one that I accidentally created. It's called, 'Silent Prayer'. I'm still learning the ropes of it. I've learned a few Jutsu's but more are to come. I want to protect papa like he does to me. So I can protect myself when need be.

"-ota?" I looked up and realized I was in front of a wooden door. "We're going to see Hiruzen. The Hokage, ok?" I nodded and he knocked. "Enter." Came a scratchy voice. Papa opened the door and I jumped behind him.

"Jiraiya! Long time no see." The deep scratchy voice said happily. "You too, Hiruzen!" Papa laughed. I looked around and saw masked ANBU looking at me.

"It's that girl with the Kekkei Genkai!" One gasped. "Didn't she kill a lot of people? An S-rank Cri-" papa growled. "Finish that sentence. I dare you. My daughter is NOT a criminal." He said as I cowered into his back.

"Daughter?" They breathed. "Yes. She is my daughter. Sota, meet Hiruzen." I peeked around Papa's side to look at the Hokage. He saw me and smiled. He slowly got up and when I noticed he was coming for me, I hid under papa's scroll. The Hokage hummed as papa sighed.

"I'm sorry. She's been....untrusting of other people. I'd like to talk privately if I could?" There was a moment if silence before papa crouched in front of me.

"I need to talk to grandpa ok? He's going to call his best friend that he trusts to watch you, ok?" I grabbed a hold of his vest wide eyed.

"It's ok! Do you want Shima to be with you?" I nodded and he summoned her. She looked at the both of us. "What do I owe this visit, Master Jiraiya?" He pointed to me. "Can you be with her until I find her?" Shima jumped into my arms. "If its for Sota, any time." She licked my face and the make up came off.

"About that..." Papa took out a rag and got it wet. He wiped my face off as I flushed with embarrassment. "I can do it, Papa." I whispered and tried to take the rag but he already wiped it all off.
