Chapter 10 : Talking

I woke up and groaned, holding my side as I bolted upright. "Whoa there, Sweety." Papa was holding my shoulder and I looked at him dazed, alarmed and confused.

"You're in the hospital. I brought you here with Kakashi and Naruto." I relaxed and laid back on the pillows. Papa sat on the edge of my bed and stared at me.

"What happened?" I sighed. "After we had Lee's surgery, he escaped and I followed after him. I came across him and Gaara fighting a bone guy. Gaara told me to find Naruto and I was about to before.....it happened. The bone guy knew about the Ten tails. Gaara saw the seal but I dashed off before anything else happened. I found Sasuke over Naruto and got a couple hits in but he...did...something to the seal. It surprised Ryuu's chakra. Hurt like hell...but anyways, after he left.... You should know the rest." I sighed and he nodded.

He patted my cheek and held it there as the door opened. "Is Sota..." I looked over and saw Kiba staring at me. He beamed and turned around.

"SOTA IS AWAKE!" He yelled. I covered my ears as my vision swam. "Quiet!" Papa hissed and blinked him across the head but froze when I gasped.

"AKAINE! Where's Akaine?" I looked around worriedly. I heard a familiar bark and I tore off my blankets and jumped out of the bed. I swayed but steadied myself.

"Arf! Arf!" I stumbled out the door and against the far wall as a white and brown fur ball attacked me. I wrapped my arms around him as I hit the floor. I hugged him to my face.

"Akaine! I was so worried!" I cooed and kissed him repeatedly. I heard another whine and Akamaru was glaring at Kiba. I giggled and opened my arms. "Akamaru~" I sang. Getting the hint, he jumped into my arms with Akaine and I kissed the living hell out of them both.

"Spoiled mutts." I heard Kiba grumble. "Nii-san? Why is there a lot of people here?" I whispered as he crouched. He smiled and ruffled my hair. "To say thank you." I blinked. The Sand three were there as well as the five from the mission to bring Sasuke back. I saw Sakura and my eyes fell to the ground.

I knew how much Sasuke meant to her. I heard she begged Naruto to bring him back. She was deeply 'in love' with him.

"Hey, Sota-Chan." I saw Sakura in front of me. Both puppies turned their heads to look at her. "Sakura...I'm-" She smiled and pulled me into a hug. I stiffened.

"Don't worry about it, Sota. The next time we all can do it together." She smiled at me again as she pulled away. I knew she felt bad as she saw my injuries. I could tell from the expressions in her face.

"I hope so, Sakura-Chan." Her eyes lit up and she helped me stand with Kiba. Both puppies in my arms. I smiled at everyone as they smiled at me.

"Anyone up for Barbecue?" Choji asked. We all started laughing at him as the two led me into my room. Kiba left as Sakura started helping me get dressed. Papa had already left to go speak to Naruto, I think.

Anyways, when I finished getting dressed and placed my ANBU mask at my waist, we walked out. "I'm going to go see Naruto." Sakura nodded and I walked away from the group behind me with Akaine on my heels.

I came to his door and knocked. "Yeah?" I heard him say it with a sigh. I pushed open the door and looked at Naruto. He was bandaged everywhere like me, but his head was wrapped.

"Hey." I said, walking into his room. He patted the bed next to him and I crawled up next to him. He looked at me and I gave him a small smile.

"Pervy Sage told me what happened." My smile fell. "What did he say to you?" I grimaced and eyed him. He was staring at me intently.
