Venus slowly opened her eyes seeing a view of the pale yellow walls. She was back in her bedroom that she shared with Solene.

The orange colored night lamp flowed throughout the whole room as it is now nighttime in the beautiful city.

"I don't understand, she was standing then she fell." a soft spoken voice communicated to the other figure in the room. Venus turned from laying on her side to finding her mother and father in the room.

Venus, even though was shocked to see her father, she didn't acknowledge him. She never seen him often and it's not fair he could go and pop up whenever he wanted to. However, the headache and heat radiating off her body prevented her from moving.

"oh my goodness"
Venus' mother, Ruth, surprised to see her daughter awake, grabs the warm towel from her lap and places it on her daughters forehead.

Venus was confused, she was in the fields jumping around to being in her room not remembering anything that happened.

"Mom, what is happening?"
Venus asked.

"Honey i don't know."
Ruth responded.

"Maybe if your mother was paying more attention this would've never happened."
The father, Janos, spoke.

Venus was upset at her father for the way that he talks ill to her mother. At least she is a parent that actually wants to be present... she thought.

"Please don't do this in f-front of the kids."
Ruth spoke quietly as she looked in the direction of her husband. She was holding back tears, not wanting to cause a scene in front of her children.

Ruth's love for her husband turned into fear as the years went on between them. His power over the family was something that she had never seen before with anybody else.

Janos was very strict and authoritative. He expected his children to be perfect without any flaws or imperfections. If there were any he always punished them with very bad disciplinary tactics.

If Janos ever did anything to the family, Ruth knew that there would be no consequences. Janos was a rich man that was very high up in the government and close to the Organa family, he was going to get away with it.

"Why not?! for everything I do for this family, I still don't get any respect!"
Janos spoke and walked towards Ruth. Fist clenched as it looked like he was going to pop a blood vein in his head.

Venus was horrified and could feel her mother's fear radiated onto her. She heard her mother scream for help, even though her mother wasn't saying anything. This caused her smalbrown eyes to widen.

"Not in front of the kids.. please."
Ruth flinched looking away from the man threatening her.

Janos looks at Venus slowly before turning around to walk outside of the room. Ruth sighs before standing up from the wooden chair and walking out the door, before shutting it.

Venus was shaking from the encounter she witnessed between her parents. The exposure of almost seeing her father being harm to her innocent mother made her mad.
