Jedi Temple
Galactic City, Coruscant

It's been only a week since Venus first arrived to the temple. She's still unfamiliar to being around Jedi, but that's mainly because she's been in her room for most of the time.

There's was nothing for her to do. She obviously had no missions and nobody has really came to check on her. They gave her a full Jedi wardrobe in a room that was now hers. At least Jedi told Venus' that she would be training soon, but they never told her exactly when.

Venus entertained herself during that time. She imagined herself in a life where her family still existed.

She would dance around in the room imagining that she still had a perfect family. One where her father wasn't abusive and one where her mother and siblings were still alive.

Around the middle of the day she would go to the dining area where all of the food was served. A lot of Jedi gave her confused looks. She was the only youngling that never had a Jedi Knight or a Master walking along with her.

Venus heard whispers about her. Most of them were confused because they never seen her before, some were upset because she was older and first getting started, others were fascinated because she was always alone.

Unless she was with Anakin...

Anakin was always in the lunch room when Venus would arrive. At first she didn't want to bother Anakin because she thought that he would've been like everyone else, talking about her and disapproving of her.

He proved her wrong when only two days after their first encounter, he called her over to sit across from him at a table. The first thing she always saw of Anakin was his longer braid in comparison to his short hair.

"Are you a Padawan now!!?" Anakin asked Venus as she sat down. Venus shook her head before taking a bite out of a single slice of red bread.

"Well don't worry because you'll have a master in no time." Anakin exciting said and Venus smiled brightly at him.

Every single day for that week Venus and Anakin always sat together and talked about anything. Venus told Anakin about Alderaan and Anakin told Venus about his home planet of Tatooine.

The way he described Tatooine always caught Venus' attention. Anakin was always tense and wasn't his usual happy self when he mentioned how sandy and dry the place was. Venus really felt bad.

"Hi Anakin!" Venus said as she sat down across from him. She got no response for a few seconds, she looked up and saw that Anakin didn't look as excited as usual.

"I'm sorry if i bothered you." Venus noticed Anakin's mood.

"No no...it's just that Obi-Wan and I are heading on my first mission later. We aren't certain of when we get back exactly." Anakin sadly said.

Venus only felt devastated and nervous when Anakin said this to her. She tried to ignore her feelings because she knew that this was a life of a Jedi.
