Anne's POV:

We stared at the woods and looked at the darkness "so...what now? We can't go back in the school, its on fire"

"We can't go in the Forrest that magically appeared here, we don't know whats in there, Plus I think we have a better chance with light"

Some more planning went by but a few seconds later the lamppost light started to blink and it had a beeping sound, like a timer

"whats the beeping sound?"

We got up and looked at the post, there right Infront of us the code number of the post started counting down

"well, i think its rigged to blow at a certain amount of time so if we're going to get moving we better do i now before we're blown to bits"

Marcy looked at us expectantly and grabbed her stuff after giving the information, there was no other choice than the woods and the lamp was sure to explode

"Get your flash lights out, we're going to go in, no excuses, I'm tired of just standing here so let's get a move on"

I click it on and off to make sure it works the point it at the forest then Marcy and Sasha get theirs out and turn them on, the beeping sound started to get faster by the second and we move forward in the forest

I could faintly hear the beeping after speed walking a few paces but it sounded like it was getting faster, we kept our pace till Sasha grabbed both our arms and pulled us to the ground, next thing i knew there was a huge explosion and the shockwave cause leaves, dirt, sticks and a wave of air to scatter

we waited a few seconds then looked over out shoulders, there wasnt anything there except darkness, trees and more darkness

i felt my heart against my ribs finally, my reaction is late but now im breathing heavily and a bit freaked out....the lot is gone..the whole school is gone, like, inexistent.

"That was close"

We got up and dusted ourselves off grabbing our flashlight and looking around us, The moon shone a pale light and did nothing to help us so we had to depend on our flashlights

Walking through the woods kept giving me shivers down my back, it spooked me out giving me anxiety and the weather did not help at all

I don't know how long we were walking but we made it to a clearing with just grass with a what looked like cabin in it

"Guys look"

We started heading towards it and saw that it was in pretty good shape, we tried the door and it was unlocked so we went inside

"This place gives me the creeps"

Sasha and Marcy stuck together while I checked out the whole house and made sure there weren't any dead bodies, I went by myself cause I had those two look for wood for the fire, after clearing the house they came back with logs and said that there were some outside already

They brought some twigs and leaves to help start the fire and used the lighter I had to start it up

With the fire going we warmed up and warmed up the cabin, the time was 8:45 but we were pretty tired already so we decided to sleep

The door was locked with a chain and those long boards and the windows had blinds, there were two rooms but we decided to sleep together by the fire to stay warm

I stayed up a little to make sure the fire was still going and the cabin didn't start to burn down while we were asleep, also for security, Sasha woke up in time of me dozing off and took over watch while I slept

I'm guessing Marcy and Sasha switched places cause when I woke up Marcy was awake and watching the door and the fire

I must've fell back to sleep cause when I woke up again it was morning and light was shining through the blinds

"Hello sleepy head"

"Mornin' Anne"

Sasha and Marcy were up before me? Sounds about right, My vision was foggy and and I felt stiff from the old floor

"Woah Morning, Why are you two up early?"

"We're always up before you, and I Marcy was going to switch with me again but I wasn't tired so we just watched the sun rise and let you sleep"

I stretched and yawned getting up to pop my back, I rubbed my eyes clearing my vision and looked for my phone

Just as I was was looking for it I heard it buzz and grabbed it, I looked at what was said and told the others

"So we're supposed to somehow find a town and magically get money? Oh sure"
