Author's POV
Jungkook hurriedly went inside the car and Taehyung locked the doors of the car through his car key.
"Oh that bitch is so gonna get it!" Areum targeted the passenger seat's window.
"AREUM DON'T YOU DARE!" Taehyung sprinted towards her.
"I'm warning you don't come near me or I'll shoot both of your bitches."
"Areum put the gun down," Taehyung tried to tell her calmly even though he was hella scared for Jungkook and their baby.
"Just come to me if you want me to spare his life! Leave him and come back to me Taehyungie."
"Areum I swear I'll kill you with my bare hands if you try to do anything. Put the fucking gun down!"
"That's it! Say bye bye to your Jungkookie!" She said in a mocking tone and pulled the trigger.
A loud sound of gunshot was heard.
Taehyung's body started trembling and his eyes widened.
Jungkook who was watching this whole scene through the car's window covered his mouth with trembling hands.
There he was laying on the road with a pool of blood around him.
He was laying there in pain almost lifeless.
Daehyung's eyes were slowly closing and he couldn't breathe.
"DAEHYUNG!" Taehyung ran towards him.
Jungkook got out of the car and hurriedly ran towards them.
Areum was shocked and she dropped the gun.
Daehyung had called some minutes ago asking Taehyung where he was because he bought a gift for Taehyung and Jungkook's baby and his baby brother.
Taehyung told him their location and he drove there.
When he arrived, he was shocked to see the scene in front of him.
When Areum was about to shoot Jungkook, Daehyung without any second thought jumped in front of the passenger seat where Jungkook was sitting and took the bullet.
Areum was shocked but she wasn't sad she was just disappointed that she couldn't shoot Jungkook.
She was afraid that the police may arrive so she tried to run but Taehyung caught her and punched her.
"Not so fast you psycho bitch!" He punched her again and again.
"Taehyung! Daehyung is losing a lot of blood," Jungkook shouted.
Taehyung saw that Areum lost consciousness so he kicked her one last time and ran towards Daehyung.
"Daehyung. My brave boy. My amazing son please keep your eyes open. Everything is gonna be alright," Taehyung weeped.
"D-Dad," Daehyung said with great difficulty and placed his hand on his father's hand.
"I'm not gonna let anything happen to you," Taehyung said and carried him to the car.
"I'll drive you should sit with Daehyung."
Taehyung nodded.
Jungkook started driving and Taehyung sat in the backseat with Daehyung's head on his lap. He kept kissing Daehyung's hand with tears streaming down his face continuously.
"D-Dad it's okay. It's time for you to live a happy l-life now. I had to save y-you and Jungkook. You always did everything for m-me. You always made sure I'm happy so now it's my t-turn. Thank you so much for being the best dad ever," just as he said that his eyes started closing.
"N-No! DAEHYUNG!" Taehyung shook him.
"Taehyung we're here," Jungkook said.
They hurriedly took Daehyung inside the hospital.
Meanwhile Areum was already arrested due to attempted murder. She was sentenced for life.
Taehyung was sitting on the chair in the hospital and Jungkook was reassuring him that Daehyung will be alright.
Taehyung can't believe this, his son was in so much pain.
Taehyung never let him feel even a little pain and always took care of him.
But his son was in so much pain today. Taehyung was so angry at himself that he couldn't protect his son
When Daehyung was little, Taehyung himself taught him how to walk while holding his little hand.
That same delicate hand was trembling today due to immense pain.
Taehyung was crying so much. He kept praying to God to save his son.

6 years later
"Dada gukie wants banana milk right now!"
Inside the Kims mansion, Taehyung and Jungkook's little baby was throwing a tantrum early in the morning.
"Taeguk eat your breakfast first!"Jungkook scolded him.
"No I want banana milk!"
"Ok baby I'll buy you banana milk right-"
"Hubby!" Jungkook warned him.
"Not right now," Taehyung said to taeguk because he was afraid of his wifey.
Taeguk couldn't do anything because he knows that his dada is afraid of his mommy.
Both Taehyung and taeguk started eating quietly.
"Good boys," Jungkook said to them and ruffled their hair.
Suddenly the doorbell rang.
"I'll go get it," Jungkook said.
"Hyungie!" Taeguk yelled when we saw Daehyung with his girlfriend Yuna.
"Hey there little champ," Daehyung picked taeguk up and kissed his cheeks.
"Hi gukie," Yuna also pinched his cheeks.
"Come on Daehyung and Yuna let's eat breakfast together," Taehyung said.
All of them sat together and ate in peace. They talked with each other and laughed about every little thing.
Under the table, Taehyung and Jungkook held hands together.
Taehyung was so grateful to have this beautiful family.
And their love for each other grew even more every single day.
Just like that, the day starts in the Kims mansion.

This book really has been a rollercoaster ride for me. I loved writing this and I hope you guys liked it too.
I don't know if I will write more books. Maybe I will but tbh I'm not so satisfied with my writing. Still if you guys liked this book and want me to write more then I'll definitely write more books
