Pokemon World Adventures: Chapter 113

Everyone gets into position.

Razor: Here are the rules. Each team starts with 7 players on the court, and one out. First team with no players in the court loses. Any player who's hit with a ball while in the court is out, and goes outside. However, you may bring one player inside the court again, by saying 'back.' Also, if the ball lands outside the court and you don't have any players there the opposing team gets the ball. Now the important stuff, we'll use the cushion rule. Ricochets are live until they land. For example: if I throw the ball and it hits opposing player A, ricochets and hits opposing player B before hitting the floor, both A and B are out. But in that scenario, if player B can catch the ball, player A is safe. But let's say that I throw the ball and it hits opposing player A, ricochets and hits my own teammate: player C, before hitting the floor. Only player C is out, not A.

Goreinu: Let me get this straight. So if player C catches the ball, does that mean player A is out?

Razor: That's right. Any questions?

Killua: If an outside player hits somebody, are they out?

Razor: Yes, naturally. Oh but now that you mention it, only one player can return to the court using 'back.'

Number 0: I'm Number 0, the ref. It's nice to meet you. And now, we will begin the match. Ready...GO!

Number 0 throws the ball into the air, Killua jumps to catch it.

Razor: Go ahead, you take the first shot.

Killua hits the ball towards Goreinu, and he catches it.

Goreinu: You sound pretty confident. Well, consider this my way of saying hello!

Goreinu throws the ball at Number 4, hitting it. The ball lands outside the court.

Killua: You nailed em!

Goreinu: Alright, one down already.

Number 4 steps outside the court, and one of Goreinu's Nen-beasts returns the ball to him.

Goreinu: Nice, let's just try to keep it up.

Goreinu throws the ball at Number 5, hitting it. Goreinu's white Nen-beast catches the ball.

Kess: Okay, that's two down.

Rotom: This is easy. Too easy.

Goreinu's Nen-beast returns the ball to him.

Razor: Well, whenever you're ready.

Goreinu: Wait, what did you just say?

Razor: Oh all I was saying is that we're ready to defeat you now.

Goreinu: Funny, very funny.
