A day since Blair moved to Glasgow

Her little sister opened the door; her comments about me made me chuckle. A few minutes later Blair appeared from behind. She made her sister go to her room and let me in. We went to the living room and sat on the couch. We didn’t say anything for a while, until I broke the silence.

“So, I’m handsome and I sing very well, uh?”, I said, raising my eyebrow, as she started to laugh.

“You know how little kids are”.

“They always tell the truth”, I said.

“My sister doesn’t, believe me”.

We laughed again, and she looked at me.

“Why are you here?”

“I want you to come back”.

“Niall you know that…”

“I found your auntie, I know where she lives, and she said yes. You can stay with her”.

“But it’s not that easy. I told you I needed to find her before I left, and I didn’t”.

“C’mon, pleas…”

“How did you find her?”

“Zayn and I spent the whole day looking for her, and part of the night too. When we found her we went back to my place, I was going to call you, but I sat on the couch and fell asleep”.

“Bue Niall, you didn’t need to…”

“Yes I did. I want you back in London”.

“It’s not that simple”.

“Yes, it is. You just need to speak to your parents, that’s all”.

“But they won’t let me go”.

“Try it”.

“Niall, why are you trying so hard?”

“Because I love you. Blair, please, come back. I need you”.

“You’re making everything harder…”

“No, I’m just asking you to come back”.

“Niall…”

She started to walk around the room, while I stared at her, none of saying anything. I had been completely honest with her, I’d told her everything I felt. I wanted her back, I had spent too much time looking for her auntie, and I wasn’t giving up that easily. She stopped and looked at me.

“Well, if you came here, that means something…”

“What do you mean?”, I said, standing up.

“That you care about me”.

“Did you ever doubt it?”

“No, but…”

“So? Are you coming back?”

“I’ll try to”.
