It was a bright sunny day. I just breathed my first breath of the overworld. I was out on a little island near a massive continent. I started walking in a direction at random. It was starting to become night, and I happened upon a spruce forest with a small hill that stretched in almost a crescent shape around before extending into some smaller mountains. I busted some trees down, killed a few sheep. I dug a small hole into the base of this hill. Placed a crafting table and some beds, found some coal and placed a few torches. Thus was born to what is now known as The Live Box.
It wasn't long before Pourusbench2274 (Thomas, Evil Wizard) joined in the splendor. He marched from world spawn to the door of The Live Box. I kept digging away inside and planting more spruce trees to increase the size of the forest. He dug down and started what is now The First Basement. He laid out plans for The Evil Wizards Tower (which at the time was just going to be the wizards tower). We both set up a nether portal close to the livebox, up against part of the crescent hill. I laid out some plans to build him his own house across from The Live Box as a temporary means for wizard's supplies.
I started by obtaining water and creating a connecting archway to help enclose and safen the area. I made a water moat that surrounded The Other House. After that was complete, I started the outer lava moat ring. That took many, many tries to keep from having my trees from burning down. I planted so many of them on the moats. I started building some villager houses and exploring the nether with Thomas.
During that time, we set up a platform above The Live Box with several ovens. We started loading netherrack into the ovens so he could continue building his tower. That's when I was dubbed The Chaos Queen, and was given The Queen's Middle Finger (my fully enchanted bow). Many shenanigans were to be had, along with the flint and steel. I would shoot arrows at the sun, aiming them just right so he would think a skeleton was shooting at him. Many times I set him on fire in the nether as well.
After the base of his tower was started, my farms were up and running, we had acquired some livestock, and some villager houses were completed; I then laid out the plans to start building The Wall (also known as Wall Maria - an AOT reference). It was tedious and arduous with the amount of torches, picks, and cobblestone needed just to first lay out the floor. Many nights were spent digging, until we finally opened up The Second Basement. It stretched all the way down to level 8.
Thomas made several attempts to build us a cobblestone generator, but to no avail. It soon became ruins near the inner base of The Wall. There is now an entrance to the first floor of The Wall to where the ruins are. And! Just below that, is where we started to build a room around the nether portal. That's also when Charlie the Enderman started appearing in The Compound, and he kept letting our livestock out of their pens! We soon added a lower ceiling height to the entrance of the portal, as Charlie had friends that would like to come through as well. That, and that we kept having wild life getting stuck in the nether!
It took many moons to get The Wizards Tower, and the first layer of The Wall built. His tower reaches beyond the clouds, and The Wall twists and turns and gets you disoriented as you walk it's empty halls. It was built with a purpose. To be imposing, impenetrable, confusing, and to be a home. We then laid groundwork for how tall the wall would be, and that once it's 5th layer is completed with railroad, we would then seal it off with a glass dome. Then continuing the wall outward to create more inner spaces free of mobs.
This, was the official birth of The Compound, the Evil Wizard, and the Chaos Queen, and our rule over the continent, extending far beyond the reaches of our blooming imaginations. Get ready for a wild ride, and deep dive into the lore of the Compound, its age, history, and meaning. There are lots of adventures to join, and many more to come! This book will go in depth about our situations, and into the spanning future as it's still alive and active today!
