(Last chapter) "since Lyra dead I've had no one so please stop acting like you care because if you did you wouldn't of left when I needed you most..." Luna says pushing herself off the tree and goes to walk off but feels a hand grab her wrist gently to stop her.
She looks back down at her wrist then at Cal "I care Luna I've always cared about you...I wasn't able to say bye if I could I would've it hurt leaving you it hurt worse when I saw you with someone else" Cal says looking at Where his holding Luna's wrist "you say you care but nothing you have done has shown it cal...you watch my pain and did nothing so don't say you care when you haven't even saved me from him!!" Luna yells tears running down her cheeks and she looks down ears lowering, Cal stands up pulling Luna close hugging her having Luna tense slightly then relaxes slowly "I'm sorry I have just sit and watched everything his done...I'm sorry I have done nothing to stop it...i promise you it won't continue" Cal says looks down at Luna as she looks up at him with more tears falling "I'm scared I don't want you getting hurt...I can't lose you again I know I've been cold to you mean even but I never meant any of it I still care and always will about you..." Luna says holding onto cals shirt slightly trembling, Cal picks her up gently and holds her close "you won't lose me it will be ok I'm here for you and I'll fight to have you as mine, I need you to trust me do you?" Cal says looking at luna who's holding onto him nodding "yes with my life, please don't let Levi hurt me anymore" Luna says whimpering slightly, Cal kisses her head gently walking off with her "never again will he lay a hand on you" Cal says holding Luna closer and looks ahead.

(Little time skip to they got to a cabin in the woods)

Luna had fallen asleep in cals arms as he had carried her to a cabin in the woods, cal walks up holding Luna closer as he opens the door to the cabin walking in with her and looks down at the sleeping girl in his arms "your safe with me Luna" cal says more to himself, he walks into a bedroom walking over to the bed and lays Luna down gently covering her up with a blanket. Cals ears twitch and looks back behind himself "she's asleep right now, she'll be happy to see you when she wakes up" cal says to the person standing in the doorway looking at Luna.
