Chapter 8

Luna starts turning in her sleep whimpering "no...I-I'm sorry..." Luna mumbles quietly, Cal ears twitch and looks down at Luna sitting by her and pets her head gently "shh it's ok...your safe Luna'' Cal says watching Luna as she calms down slightly, leaning into his touch her eyes slowly opening and looks up "c-cal.." Luna says quietly and looks around slightly "your somewhere safe he can't find you Luna" Cal says looking at her gently, Luna nods sitting up and sniffs the air "wha...that scent can't be here that's can't be possible..." Luna says looking at Cal who just looks at her "go look" cal says to Luna as she stands up going to the bedroom door, Luna walks out looking to the living room she slowly walks to the living room "it can't be possible...can it...no I saw..." Luna thinks to herself walking into the living room "how is she doing? She still asleep Cal??" The person says from the kitchen, Luna's eyes widen looking over to the kitchen "...L-Lyra..." Luna says hearing something fall and the person come out of the kitchen "your awake..are you doing ok?" Lyra says looking at Luna gently as the poor girl stands there shocked looking at her cousin, the one she watched die in her arms, the one standing in front of her perfectly alive "h-how are you...this can't be possible y-you can't be here...is this some kind of cruel joke..." Luna says tears falling looking at Lyra "Luna...not a joke I'm here how will I honestly don't know...I've missed you and I'm happy to see you again" Lyra says tearing up smiling gently.
Luna runs over hugging Lyra tightly crying "y-your alive your really here I've m-missed you so much!!" Luna says crying, Lyra hugs her back  "I've missed you to Luna so much" Lyra says crying hugging her cousin tighter.

Once the two girls had finished crying, hugging and telling the other how much they missed them, they moved to sitting on the couch to talk and catch up about the others life, "so do you live here in the cabin alone?" Luna asks looking "well actually no" Lyra says looking at her cousin who looked confused slightly "does cal come stay with you sometimes...wait are you two" Lunas ears lower as she asks "me and cal pffft! No it's not like that yes he comes visits and stays for a few days sometimes but actually someone else stays here with me" Lyra says smiling gently at Luna which the girl gave her a relief/confused look "I wouldn't date you either short stack, also you'll be shocked to know the other person" cal says as he walks into the living room looking at the two girls, Luna tilts her head slightly and looks at Lyra "I'm not that short jerk your just really tall, also shush I'm gonna tell her" Lyra says pouting at cal "explain who is this person and are you two dating or something??" Luna asks looking more confused "first off cal was the one that stay with me before, a few months ago the person I'm now dating found me or more like we ran into each other his been staying here ever since, which he'll be back any minute so you can see who yourself" Lyra says smiling at Luna who was still not understanding what is exactly going on "you looks like a deer in headlights Luna" cal says sitting in a chair across from her "I am basically since I'm still confused how Lyra is even here...she dead in my arms I watched her..." Luna says looking down at her own hands, Lyra grabs one of her hands holding it gently "I know I've missed a lot and I can't imagine how hard all this has been on you...also with what cal has filled me in on about Levi" Lyra says looks gently at Luna who keeps her head down not wanting to look at Cal as tears run down her face, which he gets up moving sitting on the other side Luna pulling her close holding her "your safe here I promise I won't let him hurt you again...never again" cals says looking down, Luna leans against him relaxing slightly sniffling.
Lyra's ears twitch getting up and goes walking down the hallway to the front door, Luna looks ears twitching listening "yeah she woke up little bit ago you can come say hi" Lyra says to the person grabbing their hand walking back to the living room "welcome back dabi" cal says looking to the man covered in scars with black hair holding Lyra's hand back, Luna blinks looking at dabi "umm who...wha" Luna says confused watching dabi and Lyra "have I changed that much since you last saw me Luna" dabi says looking at the now wide eyed wolf girl "Touya wha!!?!" Luna yells getting up looking in shock "long story short everyone thinks I'm died in a fire so now I go by dabi" dabi says petting Lyra's head gently earning a purr from her, Lunas ears lower slightly looking to dabi then Lyra "he told me all that happened the night before you left I'm not upset at all" Lyra says smiling gently at the wolf girl who just slightly sighed in relief and smiles gently sitting back next to Cal leaning against him "umm sooo you and Tou-uhh Dabi now are now a thing huh" Luna says watching Lyra nod blushing slightly, Dabi puts his arms around Lyra's waist hugging her from behind "finally" Dabi says smiling gently, Lyra purrs louder swaying her tail "you two are sickly cute" Cal says making fake gagging noises, making Luna and Lyra giggles why making Dabi roll his eyes slightly smiling "don't think you and Luna will be much better hmm I mean I did see you two all cuddled together this morning was sooooo cute" Lyra says giggling making Luna and Cal blushes brightly, Dabi laugh slightly and smiles gently then looks down at Lyra "come on seems they got some talking to do, so lets leave them to do that" Dabi says walking off with Lyra who just nods following him.

Luna looks at Cal slightly blushing more and looks down "guess we really haven't talked about anything really huh" Cal says looking, seeing her shake her head slightly "guess we should right" Luna says shifting to face him, Cal just stares at her with a gently look in his eyes "Luna tell me honestly...do you love him.." Cal asks watching her "part of me tried to and really wanted too...but he was never you, ever since you found me at the park 6 years ago..i fell for you and fell hard" Luna says looking at him gently "thats when I fell in love with you" Cal says pulling Luna onto his lap holding her, Luna lets Cal and looks up at him blushing brightly "you really love me..." Luna says tearing up slightly smiling, Cal grabs her cheeks gently with his hands looking at her lovingly "I love you so much Luna I always have and always will" Cal says making her blush more "I love you too Cal" Luna says smiling lovingly at him with a few tears falling, Cal smiles leaning down closer to her and kisses Luna lovingly, she kisses him back lovingly wrapping her arms around Cals neck blushing deeply. Cal moves holding Luna closer laying her back on the couch hovering over her not breaking the kiss holding her close, Luna breaks the kiss slowly looking up at Cal blushing brightly "god I've wanted to do that since I saw you at the base" Cal says kissing Luna's cheek gently and moves his head down hiding his face against her neck laying on her gently holding her closer "mmm I can tell" Luna says smiling gently and plays with cals hair slightly "will you be mine Luna?" Cal asks making her blush more "of course I'll be yours cal" Luna says gently feeling Cal relax making her relax too, Luna plays with his hair gently as he holds her closer.
Cal and Luna soon fall asleep like that holding each other close together, unknowingly Lyra quickly goes into the living room taking a picture of the two and runs back off to the room back to Dabi giggling.
