August

Today I decided ta spend some time with Londyn. Just me and her. Especially since Chanel still had a li' attitude that I aint have time fo'. I'm thoughtful but I'm not gonna kiss up ta her. She ignore me, I can sho' ignore ha because she was wrong for accusing me shit. See one thing about Chanel is that she'll ignore you and won't talk to you until she feels like it. It irritates me when she think she can just start talkin' when she wants to.

One person I know that will never disappoint me is my daughta'. I love just as much as anybody. She really is a mini me in so many ways although when I look at her I can see Chanel, in the face. She has both me and Nel's stubborn attitude but she has my persona. Even when a nigga tired from work an' daa studio or just not feeling it that day, Lo always finds a way to brighten my mood.

"Whea' you wanna go baybeh?"

"Chuck-E Cheese!" She shouted jumping up and down in her car seat.

I smiled. "A'ight babyguh."

"Can mommy come too?" She asked me, causing me to clear my throat. "Look, baybeh, it's just me and you coming."

"B-but I want us as a family." She said in her soft voice. I didn't even have to look back to know she was pouting and on cue, she began sobbing loudly. I led out a sigh. I couldn't even pull over because of oncoming traffic. The light was yellow and I was tryna make it befo' it turned red but here in front of me was a slow ass driver. I beeped the horn two times. "C'mon man damn!" I said to the car. Then, the light turned red befo' I could make it. I slumped back and shook my head. Some people really can't drive worth shit...

"Look, baybeh, I don't know what mommy is doin' today..She might be busy ta' come." I said lying right through my teeth. She crossed her arms while glaring at me through the rear view mirror. "That's not what she told me!"

The light turned green. Finally. I pressed my foot on the gas before glancing through the mirror at her. "What she say?"

"Mommy said she didn't have anything to do today."

I scratched my nose and went back to focusing on the road. "Do ya really want her ta come? I'll let ya play da' games she won't let you play." I said trying to convince her.

"Shh..Daddy I like this song, turn it up!" She cheered. I turned up the radio to Trap Queen by Fetty Wap.

"I'm like hey wassup, hello.." She sang in her cute voice. I just laughed and shook my head bumping to it. "Seen ya pretty butt soon as you came in the do'."

"Daddy!"

"Yeah princess?" I said glancing in the mirror.

"I heard a lot about you, I was waiting for you at the do'!"She said moving her neck around as she said it. My eyes widened as I silently stared at her through the mirror while stopping at a red light. Simultaneously, we both bursted into laughter.
